Paris: The Memoir

Omniscient
I have to say that I haven’t always been a fan of her because of the media attention she brought, but recently found out that she had a child. That is what prompted me to read this book. She began appearing more human-like.I guess I am still in quite a bit of shock after reading about her life. It’s hard to fathom that such an established young lady could have been through so much and still function. I guess that goes to show that behind every smile is some pain, and in her case, trauma.Overall, I recommend this book to anyone looking to open their mind about her. It really changed my views on her from skeptical to omniscient. Yes, she was born into privilege, but she shouldn’t be punished because of that.

Must Read
Paris is unapologetically herself in this book and gives a lot of insight into the dark side of her teenage years and how she coped with them as an adult. It’s a page turner and I highly recommend this!

Courageously done
I have to confess that I did not know about Part Two and I have not read that section of the book. I felt it would be triggering. The reason I believe that is the result of having read the Evanna Lynch memoir. I just couldn't do it again, but I'm glad that Ms. Hilton is taking action to systematically eliminate these torture places that teach nothing, heal nothing, and enrich only the lives of the evil.

Wonderful Item, Much Detail
I found the book on one of the most beautiful women in America to be captivating, exciting, candid and detailed. Hard to put down if you have any heart at all. I’m so happy Paris has overcome the challenges she’s had and developed into an individual who has retained self-respect, a sense of humor, brilliance at times, and an affiliative kindness toward others. Blessings will befall her. The Oracle Has spoken! 😎 Tamara Hampton Las z Vegas

Page-Turner ~ I laughed, I cried, I couldn’t stop reading it!
Paris’s vulnerability is admirable! This book really let us know who she is behind the scenes/off camera what she has been through and how she handled all situations throughout her life. I loved the way That’s Hot and Sliving were originated, her references to The Secret and her unstoppable determination to overcome all the challenges she faced growing up in her teens/adult life. She’s a warrior to say the least and is an inspiration to so many people out there who are afraid to speak up.Full Disclosure I read the book basically in one sitting, I couldn’t put it down, I had with me when I cooked, did laundry and yes even in the bathroom. Lol#resilient #warrior #inspiration #funny #page-turner

Happiness, Anxiety, & Laughter
All the emotions this book put me through are multiplied in shock by this being a true story/memoir.Being 23 years old, my generation witnessed just a glimpse of Paris Hiltons rich girl/ famous for being famous glory days; but I can always remember the images of her scattered across social media and magazines, never giving thought to the human that was inside the photo. This book was both heartbreaking & encouraging. My heart raced as I turned each page, Paris gave such an incredible look into her life, family, and inner thoughts throughout her unbelievable childhood & early adult years. There are so many incredible messages hidden inside the pages of this book that will uplift your spirit and remind you to keep pushing for what you want.Paris, that’s hot! LOVES IT. 🥂🤍

vain and arrogant lovefest
Nauseous and cringe. Vain and shallow book. Tried to tell a deep story about trauma but too in love with her own self image to really get the reader to care.

An interesting read as a fan
I really enjoyed reading this memoir by Paris Hilton, I was a fan when I was younger when the Simple Life was big and followed on and off since then. It was a hard read at times knowing what she had to go through due to the ab*se by the camps and all other things mentioned - but so incredibly brave for all the work she has done against them! If you're a fan of Paris you'd definitely enjoy this, and as much as it isn't all about being entertained, it's really knowing what she has gone through to make you proud of her and how far she has come!

Raw and Inspiring
A brave, honest memoir detailing horrific abuses of power within institutions. The impact this has had on Paris is clearer in the way she avoids looking too deeply at the first date rape episode of which involved her drink being spiked, but it's obvious her parents, particularly her mother feel so guilty - as the rightly should - for disbelieving her when she disclosed the physical and sexual abuse she wax suffering at the hands of the staff in the so-called boarding school/medical facility she was imprisoned for Te'o years within. Her strength and attitude is inspiring, but I can't help wondering if she's still trapped in an element of denial when it comes to part her parents played in her predicament. Overall, this memoir brings to light a billion dollar industry that thrives on vulnerable children keeping quiet, and has resulted in the lifelong trauma of those that survived and the addiction and suicides of those who didn't. Hopefully the information contained within the raw, heartbreaking book forces the government to act to shut the places down and bring those who must be held accountable to account. It also raises awareness of the issue of consent and the epidemic of men feeling entitled to rendering girls unconscious and raping them for their own sexual gratification to give themselves a feeling of power. This was not explored, I don't think Paris is ready, but it's just as damaging. The abuse of minors and the sexual assault of women must be eradicated and any book that brings these issues to light is worth reading.Paris is a courageous, beautiful, positive woman and I'm glad she's finally free, and pray she one day finds ultimate peace.
