Labgear LABDABO Omni Directional DAB Radio Aerial Silver

The product is light weight and easy to fit, it will be interesting to see if it robust enough, time will tell. Looks great as a product.

Recently got a new Denon Mini tuner/amp for my office and mounted the aerial at the end of high shelving so its pretty much out of sight. I could not find a decent aerial that matched the specified 50 ohm DAB input for the Denon RCD-M41DAB, but this 75 ohm aerial with a decent quality 75 ohm coax cable works well and receives plenty of noise free stations. Easy to use as the cable purchased plugged straight in to aerial and tuner. I'm not sure how weather proof this aerial would be for outside use, but would be a good option for loft use.

Easy to Assemble and install

I mounted this on top of my TV aerial mast and went from 22 semi-reliable channels on an internal telescopic aerial to 122 reliable channels. I'm geographically lucky as there are at least 6 transmitters within range of my location on an external dipole. That said, I'm still impressed that it's worked out as well in practice as in theory.As this aerial is omni-directional, don't forget to mount it well above or below existing aerials if they're sharing a mast so they don't physically overlap for best performance. I bought a 25m roll of Labgear coax at the same time so I could rewire the TV aerial as well while I was up there. It's not the best coax in the world, but it's more than adequate.Very impressive and worth every penny IMO.

Well-boxed, good clear instructions, easy to assemble - and most important of all, has transformed my DAB signal levels (I’m in SW London). It’s not even high up on the roof - I’ve simply attached it to a ground floor balustrade - yet on all main stations I’m getting full bars on my Mitchell + Johnson tuner and 0 signal error. Best tenner I’ve spent in a long while. Thank you Labgear.

good reception

For under £10 we now have DAD reception at the 'wrong' side of the house, ie the transmitter is the other side. Just plug in an drop the 'outdoor' aerial down the back of the wardrobe - invisible!

Works well. I was lucky in that I had a cable already installed for satellite so just re-used that. Worked first time giving me around 120 dab stations.
