It did not evaporate any water. It is it completely defective product. I'm sending it back for a refund.

Doesn't work as well as the OEM filter, it uses a different kind of material.

As other reviews said, I should have just bought it from Dyson. Does not humidify at all. The water just flows through it. Waste of money and time. Very disappointed in myself for trying to get something quick rather than waiting for it to be delivered from Dyson.

After putting this in one night, the next morning the water tank had this filmy slime in it. I changed the water and it didn’t happen again. I’m giving it the low rating because of that. Since then it’s been fine.

This is not the original part for the Dyson humidifier / air purifier, it’s a clone. It is also more expensive than the oem evaporator.
