I loved everything about this book.As a huge horse racing lover, the fine details that go in to buying a yearling,through to winning then a trip to Royal Ascot.What a dream come true for a wonderful owner.I really enjoyed watching Star Of Lady M,on and off the track,reading this is the cherry on the top.Something tells be this won’t be the end to her story in particular ❤️I can’t wait to see her again in the spring.All proceeds go to wonderful charities so close to the industry - Amazing work

This is a bright and breezy gallop through the journey from micro shares to full racehorse ownership. Mr Madden’s enthusiasm for the thoroughbred shines through and his account of living the dream and rubbing shoulders with the ‘big hitters’ (complete with helicopter trip to Royal Ascot) is detailed, informative and enjoyable. Read this first if you are contemplating dipping a toe into ownership. Profits from book sales go to racing charities, so everyone’s a winner.

Fantastic insight of ownership from the days leading up to declarations and to the day itself. Much more goes on behind the scenes as you see on the TV. And for all the proceeds to go to charity is just superb. A MUST HAVE READ.

Excellent book and gives great insight into ownership. The constant checking of racing admin and worry about the competition. That was a busy 2yr old campaign so I think the forced break came at the right time, fingers crossed she trains on
