Can't be programed to my van. Key holder broke. Seal deformed
When I first got this key and opened it up they seal edge was damaged because the board hadn't been trimmed properly by the factory as in the picture. The key sings risenberg quality and was as specified for my vehicle however the auto locksmith could not program it to my vehicle, it would not work despite his computer saying successful. I sense bought an alternative brand of the same key and that has been successfully programmed. In the pictures of the two key internals the top one is the one that worked the bottom one is this key that didn't work and you can see there are differences on the circuit board, so despite this being the correct key listed for my vehicle it didn't work and clearly wasn't the right chip. Also as the blade had to be cut in order to do the programming to find out that it didn't work i'm not sure if I can now return this which is annoying. Finally the little plastic tab that retains the key inside the main body was broken on mine and therefore the key could not have been used anyway because it would just keep pulling out of the main black plastic part. I think the quality seems to be completely the same as other aftermarket keys and it came with the correct key blank and battery fitted but I suspect that this particular one just wasn't fitted with the correct internal parts as listed, and I note that somebody else in a review had a similar issue so maybe the odd key isn't quite right. The second one I bought from a different supplier was programmed fine by the locksmith and was actually £2 cheaper as well, so this one at £16, while much cheaper than an original key or even one supplied by a key cutters or Locksmiths it's still not quite as good value as though I got actually worked. Wildest kids listed as suitable for the Renault vehicle from 2003 to 2010, the alternative key I got was only listed as suitable for 2005 to 2010 so I suspect there was some difference and you may need to get the later one if you have had the ignition barrel replaced at any point. But what was also annoying was that it arrived straight at the packet with the deformed seal that keeps moisture out see picture and they key retaining tab broke but maybe that's all just bad luck and it might work and be okay for your car. NOTE: on Renault vehicles at least you MUST get the immobilizer chip added to your vehicles computer by a professional auto locksmith or similar using a key programming software it is impossible to log the key into the vehicle using some of the manual methods without first getting the immobiliser and key registered in the cars ECU.

Replacing key fob
Without the ability to dial the key fob into the locking mechanism it is a waste of money, probably pay over £100 to have this done professionally
