I have the 2inch olympic dumbbells for a home garage.I was using the generic plastic coloured clips but when I was moving the weights into position for say a shoulder press the clips would slide out of place a few inches which was annoying and worrying at the same time....I received these clips a few days ago and I loaded up 30kg on one side of the dumbbell and tightened the metal clip and stood the dumbbell on it's end and shook the dumbbell like making a cocktail and the clip didn't budge one bit, I really hammered the dumbbell into the ground too trying to get the clip to move.This gives me the confidence that I can easily load one dumbbell with a 60kg ( 30kg on each side) and know the weights are not going to move at all...As for previous comments around it's hard to tighten the clamp , this is not the case the pin moves back and forth so you can tighten it as much as you want.They also don't damage the dumbbell as the pin pushes a inner moveable sleeve that compresses againsts the dumbbell.These aren't machined to a high spec so if you're materialistic you might be somewhat disappointed but for what they are intended for they are perfect.For once , a cheap alternative to a problem that actually works 100%. At the cost I highly highly recommend them , you won't be disappointed.

Brilliant product
Been looking for some decent clamps for giant dumbbell for ages and these are brilliant. Couple of twists and solid firm grip

Strong and dependable.
I use these on my mirafit olympic dumbbell handles. The plates are kept on securely. The collars have left zero marks on the dumbbell handles, which surprised me seeing as I do them up very tight. Top marks from me!

Best dumbbell collars.
They're the best for loadable dumbbells. Quick to put on and off. Strong. Easy to undo and narrow. I've put them on the mirafit short handles with 10cm sleeve and I can get 35kg on each using steel plates.
