Gardman A04381 Nest Bird Box, Brown, 14x14x24 cm

We still waiting for birds to nest in but showing potential in our tree !! It’s lovely quality

better quality build than expected and I love the option to change the entrance hole to suit the species you are providing shelter for. I think the single shallow hanging recess cut in the back isn't good enough to secure the box properly and I will add brass plate picture frame hangers centred top and bottom to do a proper job - hence I dropped a star.

Well constructed, good quality wood, properly treated. The construction has been properly thought through with easy access to clean and interchangeable fronts for different birds. Easy to mount.The only item missing is some sort of guard for the hole to prevent Woodpeckers pecking there way if when occupied by small birds.

On the face of it a decent bird box and it certainly attracted residents shortly after we put it up. Also has a sliding base to clear out each autumn. However the wood is flimsy and as you can see within 1 year of being in the elements, it has split and too thin to be able to fix with nails.

It’s now a lovely green to match the trellises. Hopeful for a full house over winter.

Firstly I must state that I am not an habitual reviewer of items that I buy whether via Amazon or other notable websites. I must admit that other people’s reviews of products in the past I have read but considered them as just their opinion and not taken much stock in their contents. However this particular item has driven me to comment.I needed to replace our bird box which we had for 3 years. It was an ornamental type house, made of plywood but it’s base had given up the ghost and rotted out. The new purchase I received ias promised in good time and intact. I placed it in my garden 1 week ago in a sheltered position whic was the same as our original bird box. This morning I have seen that the bottom of the box which is removable for cleaning has fallen apart. It’s leading edge has become unglued from the tray and was lying on the floor. I realise it has been rather wet at times this week but for such a rapid deterioration is due to the structure itself. It should be robust enough to repel the vagaries of the weather. This one does not do what it is meant to be able to do....provide a stable sanctuary for our wildlife. I am very disappointed in its quality and will not be considering Gardman products again!!! I would have given it a nil star rating but it will not allow me to give it that rating.....

Cassetta per uccelli come da descrizione e foto, il legno è trattato a differenza di altre acquistate. Molto interessante la possibilità di sostituire la sezione col buco con un'altra in dotazione con un buco di diametro diverso. Ancora più interessante il cassettino in fondo alla cassetta per eventuali pulizie

A la réception du produit j’etais plutôt très satisfait mais après un hiver le bois s’est fissuré et des pans des nichoirs se sont carrément détachés. Ils se démontent tout seul. Je vais devoir les refiler.

Bueno, el tiempo que la tengo va muy bien, aguanta las inclemencias del tiempo y esta fabricado con material bastante aceptable, es practica ya que tiene para limpiarla por debajo y distintas aberturas para distintos tipo de pajaros.
