DC313NFB Series 3 Portable LED Doorbell Chime with Two Push Buttons (White)

Outstanding design and construction by Honeywell. I work in industrial product design, so have a critical eye on these things. I've bought loads of cheapo "branded" bells in the past. This one is by a respected company: the extra money buys you a better, quality-controlled product. Some points 1. Bell push is nice quality, proper circular O ring weather seal on the battery compartment. The compartment can be easily removed using a coin in the deep groove on the battery cover. Good quality plastic used in wall mount backing plate, weatherproof stainless steel screws supplied to mount these to your door, and quality 3M self adhesive pad also supplied (I chose not to use this). These things make a difference, no rust runs from zinc screws down your door in 2 years time due miserly screw selection. Red ring illumination for visitor to confirm the bell push is working. 2. Ringer unit is compact, very nicely designed and assembled, with a quality wall mount bracket (I chose not to use this), and the base of the unit has non-slip feet to hold it in place on a shelf. Super loud through to super quiet - you choose, and also pick your ring tone. Flashing LEDs on top for hard of hearing. High quality unit 3. Nice package design by Honeywell. Lithium coin cells for each of the bell puses, 4xAA required for the ringer unit. I've read complaints about the instructions. I never read them, it's pretty obvious what to do with the unit. However, after fitting it, I read them to understand what the complaints were about. In my opinion, they are excellent - all pictures, self explanatory, cuts down on the product cost through only having to print one type of instruction. Plus further assistance online and on the phone from Honeywell should you need it. It's worth paying a bit more, and buying a quality product, rather than lots of semi disposable garbage. Honeywell should take pride in the obvious care they have take in making this unit (there is quite a range of bells available from them now). Well done to the product designers and engineers. Let's support industry by chosing to pay for quality, instead of a race to the bottom on price.

Very good quality, nice range of sensible sounds with decent volume (adjustable) and sound quality (i.e. doesn't "jarr" the nerves!). No wires, no fuss. Easy to install as can be. Can have more than one bell push per unit, so can use sepeate door bell pushes for front & back door with one unit. Can be wall mounted vertically or horizontally on can sit as a free-standing unit. If doiung the latter, casn even take it into the garden in case someone calls whilst you doing the barby! Excellent!

Stopped working after 3 months. The Honeywell website is a nightmare. I would give it no stars if available

I tried these but simply did not have the volume i required. Good in terms of range but not what I had hoped for. I gave them to charity and purchased plug-in products instead.

A little more expensive than the alternatives, but well build and loud.

Best loud and flashing alarm. Seperate buttons for front and back of house. Previous Honeywell one only lasted 10 years. I suppose these days that's good. Yours, miserable old git. Should Honeywell wish to get in touch I will let them know how their good product failed. But it's still the best by far.

Nice and discreet little bell, that you can put anywhere as it does not need to be plugged in. The sound is authentic and very loud when volume turned up. Bit more expensive than others but worth it.

Great product, works well as expected. It works well from 15-20 meter distance.

Hatte erst eine Billigklingel für 10 Euro gekauft ( , diese war leise und Schrott. Mit dieser bin ich voll zufrieden, laut , einfach perfekt.
