Comfy Grip, Compatible with KitchenAid Bowl-Lift Stand Mixers with Bare Metal Handle, Black

I had purchased a KitchenAid and was upset that it did not come with a handle. After some research I stumbled upon this comfy grip handle. I ended up ordering it and hoped it would fit my KitchenAid and to my surprise. It fit perfect. It is a nice durable plastic/rubber material. It is very easy to clean and is not sticky at all like some other rubber materials. Very easy to put on. Highly recommend purchasing this if you have a KitchenAid and do not like using the metal handle! I have shared this product with many friends and family that have kitchenAids and that have been looking for handles.

I sincerely believe that this is the best thing I've ever bought from Amazon! I have a 7 quart Kitchenaid lift bowl that had no handle and was impossible to (for me) adequately negotiate and almost impossible to not relegate it to a permanent home in the garage. Just buy it. Installation is a breeze and you're going to be very happy!

I have arthritis and found this handle easy to add to my mixer and the grip was very comfortable. It doesn't slide off when using.

Since KitchenAid decided to cheap out on their newer models of their stand mixer, I had to find a replacement knob grip thing. I have a 20+ yr old KitchenAid stand mixer with a rubber knob, but they used industrial strength glue and it was impossible for me to remove it. I do find the replacement expensive for what it actually is, but honestly I probably would have paid more if I had to. If fits nice and snug and best to read the instructions before sliding it on, like I didn't at first. Notch faces up :)

I bought this on a whim and was surprised at how much I like it once I put it on. It's adds comfort to the handle and looks great. Hint: If you initially don't think it fits, give a little twist and it settles into place just fine.

Mine is Loose, but I'm hoping after time, that it will adjust better. I'm at a loss as to why KitchenAid makes expensive mixers and they're too cheap to put a grip on a bare metal stick handle. I do have arthritis in my hands. I have a 5.5 quart lift bowl KitchenAid and while my handle grip is a little loose, I do think that after a while, it will be OK. I just kind of push in a little, while I lift the handle and it works fine and is a lot easier on the old hands. I recommend this, if you have a lift bowl mixer (that KitchenAid was too cheap to put one on). My mixer is Matte Black, but it would look nice on any colored mixer. It nicely matches the Speed Slider Grip, I do recommend this.. Thank you for reading my review.
