RobertsRadio BluPad Portable Bluetooth Speaker with Built-In Rechargeable Battery and Leather Carry Case

As others have remarked, everything, including the packaging, is Roberts quality. The leather cover is surprisingly sturdy. As all the drivers/passive base drivers are front facing, the folded back cover supports the speaker at a sensible angle. The speaker sounds as good as any other similar sized ones I have tried. Minimal distortion only at very high volume, and it can sound fairly loud! All in all a very nice speaker with exceptional battery life. Recommended.

A friend of mine purchased this speaker and I was amazed at the sound quality and bespoke looks of this blu tooth speaker, the review that says it cant connect 8 things at the same time is just confused, it means it can remember 8 devices, but only one can be connected at one time. There is a 3.5mm aux input to connect by wire and a usb to charge from like a power bank. The first light turns blue when in blu tooth mode and turns to orange in direct aux mode. It also has a special feature I have seen on other speakers, that is it can skip to the next track by communicating with the connected device. This is discontinued line and that's why its so cheap, grab it now before they are all gone!.

Good sound, nice bass for the size, and sensibly priced. Only reason for docking 2 stars is a very misleading sales pitch: WARNING - THIS DOES NOT LINK TO MULTIPLE DEVICES AS CLAIMED. The sales description says it links with up to 8 bluetooth device. This is a blatant untruth. It will only link to one device at a time and must be manually disconnected before another can be linked. Not a big problem but it's always very annoying when an item is over-sold by giving highly misleading information. Otherwise delighted with the overall quality and performance.

As Travellers who like to bring our favourite music with us, we've tried a number of small Speakers before - in most cases we found the sound quite "tinny" & battery life was also a problem.We were familiar with the "Roberts Radio" brand, (having purchased a number of their excellent radios over the years), and their "BluPad Portable Buetooth Speaker" caught our eye on Amazon. Our concern was whether we could play "Spotify" on this Speaker : checking with the manufacturers, their very helpful Technical Department readily explained how we could connect with "Spotify" from our Ipad (we can also use Bluetooth to link with an Ipod Mini, or physically connect a line in (cable provided) from an older Ipod Classic).The supplier delivered our Order within 4 days (well done!), and we're very pleased : the Speaker is simple to operate, and sound quality is noticeably superior to what we've had before - our overall rating would be VERY GOOD.[By the way, Travellers may be interested to note that the Speaker - in its leather case - weighs slightly less than .75 kg.]
