I don’t think these are really for jewelry making but that’s ok, I got them for shutting o rings when making key chains and some other stuff. The handles are sturdy and work really well. I like the thicker handles. The handles are a hard plastic but the work well for me, better than ones I’ve previously had. They do the job and the price was great. People are right though, there are ridges on the pliers so it’s not ideal for jewelry making but as I said, it depends on what you’re using them for.

These are a good simple hobby pliers. The jaws are great, but will do. They are pretty durable, just not precision sryle pliers. Handles are made from a plastic material and are a little rough on seams. Product smelled bad - had to wipe down and leave in hot garage to reduce smell (still has slight odor from handles). If you need expect quality pliers or great precision these will not be what you want. If you need some hobby pliers for arts/crafts with simple wire bending or crimping these are fine.

I cannot recommend these pliers. The are already damaged after making one trout lure. The cutting edge on the side cutters are dented and damaged. The Needle nose pliers teeth are flattening as well. The were only being used to cut and hold .024 gauge wire.

The mouth of the cutters, don’t closed perfect...you have to move the line or wire around to find the cutting part. If you hold them in light, you will notice a gap. It is supposed to cut, anywhere along the sharp lines... they don’t.They are made in China, somewhere they don’t have quality control. I got them in blue, not in red like it shows in the description.

Worth to buy - a super quality plier.It did a nice work for my sweet and wife while doing DIY case , Its a plastic grip not like some week. Also the nickel coated can last this item without rust .Super worth to buy not because the price but for the quality .

I don’t like these at all for jewelry. The flush cutters dont cut smoothly through. The pliers have teeth so you will damage wire while gripping, the round nose pliers are ribed, not smooth, making them useless. Don’t know if these hold up because I don’t use them. Should have returned
