Great, funny and easy to read book
I would recomend that to anyone who want to relax and laugh a bit - funny and easy, interesting story - typical Terry Pratchett... nothing to do with disc worlds (which is my favourite, especially witches), but still good read :-D Easily recommended to children and teenagers, thou not excluding adults ;-) I would recommend it to read it as second book after rDiggers and before Wings, thou you can easily start from any but somehow story make more sense if you read it in from begging to the end (well.. if it is an end ;-)) I would as well recommend it to someone whose English is not first language to get to Terry Pratchett and get use to his writing style. Good way to improve your language skills :-)

Brilliant!
My first foray into the world of Terry Pratchett. I was advised to start with this trilogy of Truckers, Diggers and Wings to get into the author's way of writing. I loved them, really funny - I think Douglas Adams (Hitchhikers guide) must have gone to the same school of humour, and once started, I couldn't put them down. I love nomes! Silly, clever and highly entertaining for kids of all ages. Can't wait to start on the discworld series now.

Great fun!
I really enjoyed this book. I loved 'Truckers' and this was just as good. I thought the story was great and I didn't want to put it down. I thought that the characters were great fun, well written, interesting and larger than life. Terry Pratchett is a brilliant author and this a another great book an a fun series.

Diggers,is a great Pratchett book.
If you have ever read any Terry Pratchett books then this is one for you. The follow on from "Truckers" this carries the nome saga further along. This is a great book for the younger reader too.

For fans of pixies, little people, elves and fairies - this set of characters kept me coming back for more

Terry Pratchett's books are all wonde drful and this one is no different. That being said, I must offer one caveat: Be very very careful with which narration you buy. If it's done by Tony Robinson then it's been significantly abridged. For the complete story you need to buy the one read by Stephen Briggs.

I have had great fun reading this book, worrying about the nomes and hoping all works out. So, the book is well written if I felt those things.

The book does what Pratchett does best: tell a very long story very quickly, with a fluidity and comical sense that pushes him far from the typical author, fantasy or otherwise

Wonderful story, leaves you with the desire to read more. A clasic Pratchett, creative, entertaining all that you'd expect. Why I have to write 15 words as a review, I've no idea. It's a great book, read it!
