Oregon Scientific THGR810 Thermometer & Humidity Sensor For WMR100

I have bought 2 of them to add additional sensors to my newly purchased WMR89. They both have paired with the main station easily (unit support not 3 channels as unit shipped with the main station but 10, which is great). Measures are accurate (checked placing both of them inside and outside on the same place). Mounting was very convenient and easy. Sensors work fine in deep freezing temperatures (- 13°C) as well. Can be conventionally used in both outside and inside conditions as it came with iron bracket (and can be placed on the desk). Built-in display with temperature and humidity values is additional value added in comparison with sensor shipped with the main station (WMR89). It can be mounted on the wall (with screws) as well via compact tray that is included in the package. Sensor can be easily removed from the tray (i.e. for battery replacement). Package came with 2 powerful AAA batteries. I am very satisfied with this sensor and highly recommend it!

Arrived promptly and works perfectly. Although updated replacement for older model, it syncd with my 8 year old base station without a problem.

Be aware that this device will only interface with base units that also have the '3.0' symbol on them. It will NOT work with the older 3 channel base units (like mine) despite looking identical to the remote sensors designed for the older 'pro' units. I think that Oregon Sci should have redesigned the sensors to make them visible different from the previous ones to avoid any confusion. I also find it aggravating that they no longer sell any replacement sensors for the 3 channel systems making my base unit useless if the sensors all fail. However, I'm using this device in a standalone mode because it has its own display and for that it's useful and functional. Just be careful and ideally visit the Oregon Scientific site and check their compatibility tool to make sure this device will work for you. I spotted the tool AFTER I'd ordered of course.

We got this for the cellar it works well, and is more accurate than the one we had before, and being remote is really fine.

sadly I find it under reads the temp and under reads the humidity by a lot.wally Thornton.

I bought this to replace an outdoor sensor that had stopped working after 4 years in a very exposed position. I like the Oregon Scientific equipment and this is like the other sensors I have from them, a very well made piece of equipment.

Bought to go with my OS Weather Station, but frustrated at it telling me that it is a wonderful sunny day when the heavens have opened and it is pouring down outside. The LCD display is a nice touch though.

Worked perfectly well initially, then after a few months stopped working entirely. Sensor light flashes when batteries are changed but nothing else. Oregon gear seems to be pretty poor quality, as its internet connected base station doesn't work and the wind sensor can't register wind from the northwest.

Works great with my WMR 200

Habe vier dieser Sensoren in Verbindung mit der Anywhere Wetterstation des gleichen Herstellers in Verwendung. Zum Testen der Genauigkeit hatte ich nach dem Kauf alle 4 Sensoren sowie ein Referenzgerät am gleichen Platz in einer Luftstömung: Sie zeigten alle exakt die gleichen Werte von Temperatur und Feuchte an! Genauer gehts wohl kaum. Für die Messung der Aussentemperatur/Feuchte habe ich nun zwei dieser Sensoren meteorologischen Strahlungsschutzgehäusen untergebracht, die gleichzeitig vor Regen schützen. Diese habe ich mir deswegen besorgt, da Ich der Meinung bin, dass nur genaue Messwerte Sinn machen - denn für irgendwelche Hausnummern braucht man keine Messgeräte:) Diese Sensoren sind aber perfekt. Super Produkt!

Compre este sensor para usarlo con mi estación oregon...en la descripción te pone las estaciones compatibles aunque yo para asegurarme lo busque por Internet. Se puede colocar colgado en la pared ...o en sobremesa ya que trae los 2 soportes. Tiene 3 canales para su conexión con la estación. marca la temperatura en pantalla y la humedad relativa....y depende de tu estación te marcara en la estación mas cosas como puntos de rocio etc. A mi me marca la temperatura perfecta en el exterior, estoy contento con la compra. lo recomiendo.

J'ai commandé ce produit pour fonctionner avec ma box domotique eedomus+. Son "énorme" avantage est la sélection possible de 10 canaux à la différence des sondes Orégon "de base" qui ne proposent que 3 canaux. Avec 3 canaux, j'avais des pertes de connexion aléatoires sur ma box (utilisation de 5 sondes : 2 de température et 3 de température / Hygrométrie), avec ce type de sonde, je peux configurer 10 sondes différentes sans risques. Certes, le coût est un peu plus élevé qu'une THGN132N mais justifié par l'affichage des valeurs et la sélection du canal; de plus, ces sondes Oregon fonctionnent sans problème sur ma box domotique (avec un récepteur RFX) et offrent des fonctions quasi inexistantes à ce prix en z-wave (affichage de mesures combinées de température et hygrométrie).
