XPCARE Bird Scare Tape……

We have lots of pigeons by our pool. Multiples every time I look out the window. I bought one kit of 30 and hung the mirrors along a shade structure by the pool, and on the wire of string lights along our pool fence. The number of birds is definitely reduced but not gone completely. I still see birds on our pool fence and on the pool cool-deck, but just a few times a day and not nearly so many. These have only been up a few days so I don't know yet if the effect will last. I still say its worth it. I recommend. Nice kit with lots of options.Update: These mirrors have been up for several weeks now and all the pigeons are gone! They work!

Works great but kind of a pain to assemble

some have written that getting the rings onto the disks is a pain. I am not sure if they were redesigned but the batch I got have snap rings that connect similar to binders of old - does anyone remember what a binder was :-) It was more work removing the protective plastic from the mirrors. I will install them tomorrow and hopefully they will keep the woodpeckers away, that seem to love our stucco walls.

I order two sets.. thank the disc gods. These are pretty fragile. I broke several in my first SEVERAL attempts. Heavy hand, no. Soft hand, still no. When you get these plan on going to the store before hand and purchasing your favorite alcoholic beverage. This will give you patience for the next hours you are going to waste/spend putting these together. FIRST you have to peel both sides of the discs.. (4 beers later). Then you have to attempt to put these together. I only did a six disc length and just have 2 completed. Now 8 beers in. I’m going to finish because I now have a good buzz and am determined to WIN the disc assembly challenge. Don’t try this if you are pms’ing, mad at the world or waiting for the last straw to break the camels back. This will be that straw. I don’t know if they even work yet, and my hangover might not be worth it, but forward we go.Update: seemed to work for a bit. No longer does. Not worth the hassle. Still feeding the entire town of birds. Hope this counts as rewards after I die.
