Coast Guard recommended!
We were boarded this summer by the Canadian version of the Coast Guard, and they highly recommended on their safety check that we include clip-on whistles for all of our life jackets. We bought these on Amazon and they absolutely fit the bill (in theory). I really hope we never have to test them out in real life!
