I had tried so many disposable wraps for our old adorable and overweight Westie but none of them worked. The biggest problem is that within half an hour, the wrap would slip out of place: to the back of his legs and onto his tail which really really annoyed him!! This wrap is perfect : it's broader than others and the velcro on it has a strong grip. Being broader (wider) it sits comfortably across the dogs back and does not slip and slide at all! I have bought disposable baby nappies (they cost 9pence each) and slide one in (folded in half) and honestly, the 2 products combined work absolutely PERFECTLY!! He has a 25inch waist and I bought the Large - it fits him well and isn't too tight and he doesn't mind it being around his tummy at all!!! Easy to wash and dry, I have 2. These are the 3rd brand I’ve tried of these male wraps, they’re a good fit, the medium fits a pug comfortably (he isn’t a typical chubby pug though). The waistband has an elastic running inside to hold it close to the dog to prevent it slipping but I do worry this could rub over long periods so have been trying to keep it off as long as possible. Absorbency is ok. Honestly all the brands I’ve tried are okay for holding one or two small wees but you definitely need to use liners for much more than this. I was hoping I could find a more cost effective solution than disposables but it seems one way or another you end up paying, a slightly cheaper option to liners have been by using female sanitary pads or incontinence pads. We tried baby nappies as liners for a while but they weren’t a good fit as they hung out of the elastics. Overall they’re as good as any I’ve tried, the sizing is better on these than most but you will need some sort of liner. I’ve bought 3 at the moment to keep a spare whilst washing one and he’s wearing the other.

although the wraps keep my boy clean from urine stains the elastic is far too tight it cuts across the base of his willie even though I adjust as much I can, it cuts into the 'v' between the top of his thigh and lower body and it is tight across the top of his lower back I appreciate that it has to be reasonably tight but it is very tight and he has the medium despite being only 7.8 kilos I suggest that it should also have pockets at each end to tuck the disposable nappies in to help when putting nappy on my boy is recovering from total paralysis of the lower end of his body and legs and it is sometimes difficult for him stand while I try to get the nappy and male wrap on together his incontinence isn't from old age and it is from total paralysis of the lower part of his body he is only four now and it is doubtful if he will ever have control of his waterworks so the male wrap I find will have to be comfortable for him and not restrict him in any way I'm having to look elsewhere for something more suitable

We found ourselves fostering a Staffordshire Bull Terrier who had issues! Rebus was suffering, amongst other things, with separation anxiety and whenever he was left for more than a couple of minutes, rivers of wee appeared! It was getting to the point whereby I didn't think I would ever be able to leave the house. Did a search on the internet and came across Simple Solution Male Dog Washable Wraps (belly band). Read a few reviews and saw that someone had posted about using them for separation anxiety. Place the order and a few days later the belly band arrived. I had read a review of someone buying Tena Ladies Night Time pads instead of the Simple Solution alternative as the Tena were cheaper and a far superior product. The first time we used the belly band it was success - Rebus wasn't best pleased to be left wearing a skirt! I came back to no wee rivers and a happy Rebus who was delighted to see me and have his "skirt" removed! We faithfully used the belly band every time we left the house and soon it became apparent that Rebus associated the belly band with us going out and was happy to be left with his skirt in place. Then after about 3 weeks of leaving him with his belly band in place we came home to him having wriggled out of it but no rivers of wee. By changing a few things, Rebus is now able to be left for about 3 hours without any anxiety and doesn't wear the belly band anymore. I put down a huge amount of the success of turning Rebus around to the belly band - it took the stress out of leaving him, dreading coming home and cleaning up bucketfuls of wee! Don't be in any doubt that this product doesn't work, because it does but take my advice get the Tena Ladies Night Time pads to fit inside the belly band - they are lovely and padded, feel soft and if your dog did have a wee it would hold it in place until you got home!

Absolutely a fantastic product. My older Lurcher doesn’t hold his urine too well and seems to be incontinent .i place Tesco’s own sanitary towels inside which are really thick and this does the job well I even ordered another pair . I washed it by hand and put on radiator to dry . The Velcro is super strong and it stays on the dog well. I have a Lurcher and ordered a medium size which fits ok but I think the small would be a tighter fit. Update ... I have found over the last two years that buying Tesco’s baby nappy’s size 4 helps even more under these pants as they hold his dangly bits inside better without the urine coming through the edges . I still have the same pair of these pants which have been washed and dried many times . My home has been pee free for a long time now . So worth it ... Added pictures for u all to see.

Very difficult to put on and the type and use of elastic seems to cut in also I found it wasn't wide enough and if the dog had been restless it would leak. This has leaked 8/10 times even when I've tried to use a nappy with it. The Velcro kept bunching up making it very difficult to join up, I have another make and instead of going along the dogs back it goes in the direction of the wrap around. It washes well and if the Velcro gets clogged up I used my fine comb that I use on the dogs the outside fabric so if it's leaked it's this that gets wet and everything else it touches. I'm using this on a basset hound and it may be this is why I'm having trouble other breeds may find this OK, the idea is excellent and I like the built in pad and for minor incontinence with a few modifications this could be improved as it seems they started on a good idea then rushed the finishing touches. Do not get the liners these are just panty liners which are cheaper in the supermarket. Not sure why they didn't think to make a proper doggy nappy liner as baby liners have the padding in the wrong areas. If they either produced a nappy like liner or a male nappy and it wasn't too expensive I'd get it. They already make dog nappies mainly for female dogs so surely with a bit of thought it wouldn't take much to produce a liner or male dog nappy.

These wraps are a life saver, my dog is 14 years old and incontinent. I was having to wash his bedding 3 times a day until I found these wraps but now using these wraps alongside nappies purchased from Lidl, he is longer lying in his own urine and alot less washing for me. The wraps are advertised as being waterproof but I found they need to reinforced with nappies to stop any leakage. I would highly recommend this product to anyone in the same situation as me.

We have used these wraps for about 5 months now with our elderly Springer Spaniel. They work extremely well, are easy to take off and on, and wash nicely in the wash machine. We use size 6 baby diapers safety- pinned into the wraps. Since our dog is no longer able to walk and is a large dog we supplement with human disposable underpads underneath in case we do not get him outside fast enough when he tells us. We also use a large human adjustable disposable brief which we pin on with diaper pins at night or if we have to leave him alone for a few hours. (We do not use the wrap at that time.) We buy all of these products by the case at a local warehouse to make caring for our dog affordable. Although no longer able to walk, these products have allowed him to be a happy member of the family for an extra few months at the end of his life. While we were getting this system in place we were not sure how long we would be able to manage his care. While he makes it outside most of the time these wraps and his diaper absorb most, if not all, of the urine when he has accidents. We use a rubberized grate outside for him to lay on and use the bathroom. This grate also works well for him to lay on over our double laundry sinks when we give him a butt bath from time to time now that he is no longer well enough to go to the groomers. This system keeps him clean, comfortable and dry. You can tell he enjoys the care and seems to understand the adaptations help him. A tip is to keep the wrap velcroed shut when washing so you do not get lint in the velcro. We either air dry or dry in the washing machine depending on the need. After using the initial wrap we have bought several more so we always have a clean one available. I would definitely recommend the wrap. It is much nicer than the ones I looked at in the store and was recommended to me by a friend. It is also much more reasonably price. A win win! These have been wonderful and have made huge difference in our being able to care for our elderly dog.

Questa fascia era l'unica di taglia XL reale perché nella categoria del prodotto si trovano quasi esclusivamente le fasce e mutande assorbenti cinesi di taglia XL minuscola e di minore qualità. Ho impiegato un po' di tempo e per fortuna ho trovato questa fascia. Do 5 stelle perché effettivamente è fatta di un buon materiale, è morbida e ha una chiusura a velcro molto potente. All'interno è fatta di un materiale più leggero e traspirante, rispetto a quelle di fattura cinese che sono di pile, quindi è adatta per il periodo primaverile e estivo. Al mio cane sta abbastanza comoda, non stringe, a volte se la sfila quando si sdruscia sul lettino ma comunque sono soddisfatta dell'acquisto. All'interno io appiccico l'assorbente per le donne e così è perfetto, altrimenti andrebbe lavato 2-3 volte al giorno. Peccato solo che è di un colore e basta. Avrei preferito una scelta di colori più discreti visto che il mio è maschio. Comunque consigliato.
