A very good value proposition
Supports 4k @60hz which was exactly what I needed for my ps4 pro and Xbox one s. I also have my switch connected as my third device. I cannot speak on hdr compatibility since my current television doesn't support it. The convenience of this port's auto switching is a blessing. It's not about being lazy but these little conveniences add up over time.

Auto HDMI switch
╔ ■ Price Point:4.5/5╠ ■ Need/Usability: 4.5/5╠ ■ Recommendation/Giftable Factor: 5/5╠ ☼ Overall: 5/5╠ ►Product Need: Auto HDMI switch╠ ►Product Pros: Automatic or manual select, 4k, guarantee╠ ►Cons to Consider: No remote╠ ►My Review: I have an existing HDMI wire running through my wall, but have run into the issue of having multiple devices that are not automatically picked up by my receiver and don’t want more cords hanging around, I was tired of switching all my devices every time I wanted to change sources. I now have my PC, Xbox, and Firetv all as inputs and free to switch based on my need from my couch. Picture is the same which is import since I am paying for 4k services. While I haven’t ran into it yet I feel like I may come to the scenario where I have multiple devices on and will need to select which one and since this does not have a remote will need to do so manually. I love the product comes with a guarantee and they stand by it. Overall this fits my specific need of auto switching 3 ports into 1 without the explicit need for a remote.

Works perfectly unless you have a PS4 Pro
I will be returning this, but please read on for an explanation.I recently bought a PS4 Pro & the previous switch I had didn't support HDR 60hz, so I bought this one. I got my Xbox One, PS4 & Switch hooked up & went to enjoy some 4k gaming goodness. However, after a few minutes or so if playing my PS4 signal to my tv cut out. I check my connections & tried again. Same thing. So I consulted Google & it turns out that the PS4 requires a powered HDMI switch. The workaround is to have another device powered on at the same time but that doesn't really suit my needs. Other than that the switch worked great. It switched back & forth between my devices as I powered them on or off with no problems. So as long as you don't have a PS4 Pro hooked into it you'll be fine.

This item works perfectly with my modern and dated electronics.
This item works perfectly with modern electronics. Bought this to try after an earlier and cheaper one from a different company failed to work the way I had hoped. I now have two of them for up and downstairs. Currently hooked up to XBox360,PS3,PS4, Sony BX650, and an older dvd player from 4-6 years old, and they all work correctly with THIS converter. Very happy! Thanks Ibit and Amazon!!

nope
I bought this since my Vizio TV only has one input that supports 4k/60hz/hdr. It seemed well built, but after installing and connecting my PC and blu ray player nothing would work. The light on the hdmi switch indicated which device I was attempting to use, but none would display. Very disappointing. Will be returning.

Works Perfectly with 4K @ 60hz and HDR, including Dolby Vision
My Vizio M Series (2017) only has one HDMI 2.0 port, which is needed for 4K 60hz HDR. My receiver has 1.4 HDMI ports that can pass 4k, but only at 30hz and it can't pass HDR even if it could pass the correct 4k signal with the correct DRM. I have both an Apple TV 4K and PlayStation Pro that I want to be able to display on my TV in full 4k HDR and with Dolby Vision where available. What I didn't want to do was spend hundreds on a new receiver, especially since most 4K streaming sources aren't HD codecs, so 5.1 DD is fine. This switch lets me run both devices to the TV and because they are HDMI 2.0, my TV will display in perfect 4K HDR including Dolby Vision. I do have to run an optical cable out of the TV to the receiver given the ARC is the same HDMI 2.0 port I need for my other devices, but given the audio is almost always 5.1 DD, that's an acceptable solution to the high priced receiver upgrade option. The auto switch works perfectly. It clearly works off current because my PS4 Pro will override the Apple TV 4K (even when I power it down it takes about 15-20 seconds for the power to fully die down enough for the Apple TV to kick back onto the TV, but that's perfectly fine.) If I want to remote play the PS4 Pro on my laptop and play the Apple TV 4K on my TV, then I can hit the button on the switcher to manual select the port my Apple TV 4K is hooked up to, and it will display it on the television. The build quality seems solid and its a tough, gold-platted and braided cable, so I don't anticipate any issues. Its a perfect solution to working around the many issues and idiosyncrasies of 4K HDR and I couldn't recommend it enough.UPDATE: Unfortunately, the chips in these are of low quality and it didn't last that long. Less than a year in and it the handshake after manually switching between devices would error and either the colors would be completely blown out, or the image would be static all together. I had to unplug it and resent my TV multiple times and I finally stopped manually switching with the button all together. I also learned that one of the three ports doesn't work at all. I didn't have a need to test that third port initially. So, for the price, it does what it says and its a cheap, albeit temporary solution, but its definitely not going to last long term. I decided to just go ahead and pick up a new AV receiver.

Good stuff
I have this connecting a pc, a Nintendo, and a laptop to a projector. Setup is was easy (just plug everything in). I have not tried to have multiple sources on at once, but when we turn on anything connected on, the switch does it’s job and routes the output to the projector. No issues yet (about 6 months in).

Switches for no reason
Something is wrong with the one I got, after about 20-30 minutes of viewing it automatically switches ports to stuff that isn't even on. Very irritating to have to always manually change it back.
