Behringer X32 Rack Digital Mixer ,Black & Grey

I love this thing..... it gets used for all sorts from FOH to recording, but mainly as a usb sound card (16 tracks) for my Mac to to play keys, loops, click track (7 XLR out) from Ableton live with hardware keys mixed in and monitor feed in for IEM through the monitor headphone socket to a pair of Sure SE215s. Remote app an OSX and iPad. Sits in a 3u rack on an Xstand with my MBP on top. Absolutely brilliant!!!

**Title: From Focusrite 4i4 to the Centre of My Entire Studio** I moved to the Behringer X32 Rack from a third-generation Focusrite Scarlett 4i4, and for a hardware-heavy studio it has been a massive upgrade. The Focusrite was excellent for what I originally needed, and I still keep it because it is small, portable and ideal for taking away on trips or holidays. The X32 Rack is absolutely not that kind of device — it is large, heavy and very much something you install as the centre of a studio rather than throw into a bag. But once my collection of hardware synths, drum machines and controllers grew, I needed something that could handle far more inputs and much more complex routing without constantly unplugging and repatching equipment. That is where the X32 Rack completely changed the setup. I use it as the central audio hub for Ableton Live, with multiple hardware synths permanently connected and ready to go. Instead of thinking of it purely as a mixer or purely as an audio interface, I think of it as the routing infrastructure for the entire studio. I can bring multiple synths into Ableton, monitor them directly, route signals where I need them, create separate mixes, use buses, EQ, dynamics and effects, and keep the whole studio connected in a logical way. I'm running it with Ableton Live on a first-generation M1 Mac mini with 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD, and the combination has been extremely stable. For me, one of the biggest benefits is simply that the instruments are always ready. I don't have to decide which two or four pieces of hardware get interface inputs today. Everything can stay connected, and when I want to use a synth I can just use it. The amount of functionality built into the X32 Rack is also remarkable for the money. You get extensive I/O, proper channel processing, EQ, dynamics, effects, buses, monitoring options and very deep digital routing in one unit. There is a learning curve, particularly if you are coming from something as straightforward as a Scarlett interface. The X32 gives you vastly more control, which naturally means there is more to understand. Once the routing clicks, though, that complexity becomes one of its biggest strengths. If you are currently using a Focusrite or similar small USB interface and your hardware setup is starting to outgrow it, the X32 Rack is well worth considering. It is a completely different class of solution. I still rate the Focusrite highly and still use mine when portability matters. But in the studio, the X32 Rack has become the backbone of everything. Highly recommended.

A revelation in sound,portability and price.Run this with Ipad air Mac pro lap top and Reaper DAW. Brilliant.

With firmware upgrade to version 4.x they filled the gap giving even more flexibility.

Equals the larger format X32 in smaller package although it is useful to have both for different duties. This desk also covers spare stand in capacity for both the X32 & XAIR therefore maximising its user ability and overall use. Another great product from Behringer with all the effects and dynamic processing on board with excellent response times. The Midsas preamps are also absolutely excellent.

La compramos principalmente para gestionar nuestro sistema de monitoraje in-ear, y en ese ámbito es simplemente espectacular. Además, en más de una ocasión la hemos usado como mesa principal en directo, y se ha comportado de maravilla. Compacta, ligera, muy versátil y perfecta para situaciones donde no puedes llevar una mesa grande pero necesitas potencia y calidad profesional. En resumen: si estás buscando una mesa potente, fiable y versátil, tanto para directo como para monitoraje, esta es una opción brutal.

My band purchased this and it was definitely the right move. We borrowed an analog mixer for a while but needed to purchase our own. We decided we wanted something portable with a bunch of inputs. I play guitar in the band but also run the sound so I didn't really need a physical interface. I also wanted to wireless control the mixer. This rack mixer fit right in and has a decent price. We got a 10 space rack case to put it in along with a power conditioner, power amp, a wireless router, and will eventually get wireless in ear monitors installed. It serves as a heavy but portable unit. Some 3rd party developed an Android app to control the X32 systems and it's better than the official Behringer app for iPad in my opinion. I mix with my crappy android tablet or even my phone if for quick adjustments and it's easier than borrowing one of the band mate's iPads. We look forward to having in ear monitors because each person can control their own monitor mix with their phone or tablet with this system. It also serves as a 16-input audio interface which will be really nice when we record our next album. It's just really nice to have a good mix in our practice space, turn everything off, pack up the case and bring it to the venue, and have a quicker setup time in addition to the fact that no knobs get bumped and I just have to make small adjustments for the room to get us sounding good.

Das Beste was es in diesem Bereich bezüglich Preis/Leistung auf dem Markt gibt. Nur wer mehr Dynamikumfang möchte (mehr Headroom), der sollte sich die Midas Versionen dazu anschauen. Ansonsten absolut professionell und Zuverlässig im harten Road-Alltag einsetzbar!
