I can not understand all those who say that the audio quality is not good. One of the best live shows of recent years that sounds really, really good. Sting is 67 years old but sounds and looks at his best. A real excellent performance recommended in both LPCM and DTS HD. Hot sound and really good music.

Great rendering of all the old favourites, a little more gritty than Live in Berlin but to be fair that was exceptional. Image quality is superb and the audio perfect. Sting is just Sting very relaxed and playing as well as ever. If you like all his old classics then you will thoroughly enjoy watching this concert, less chat than Berlin but great playing.

Pretty good

Sting and his band are in cracking form churning out crowd pleasing favourites much to the delight of a mainly middle aged, but energetic audience who delight in singing along with the former Police man. Highlights include an epic rendition of Message in a Bottle and a beautiful version of Shape of My Heart that includes accordion. I think he should have included a keyboard player to add a little balance. My other small gripe is with the play list that doesn't include some favourites such as If I Ever Lose My Faith In You, Don't Stand So Close To Me, and Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic. He may be in his sixties but he is showing no signs of slowing down and the voice retains its power. If you are a Sting/Police fan you will keep playing your favourite songs on this.

I really enjoyed this blue day disc of Sting in concert in Paris. It was filmed good sound brilliant and has a good selection of songs.

Good audio and visual recording would suit any music goer who likes 80,s music - for fans this is a chance to see Joe Sumner doing a dad-like rendition ...

Bought as a gift for Dad but he said it was a brilliant show with memorable songs and a great performance from Sting. He would recommend it to all Sting fans.

Better than perfection! Without a doubt one of the best concert videos you can get (but then I am a huge Sting fan so I am biased!). A while back I purchased the "Live In Berlin" video and these two videos exemplify this man's ability and versatility as an exrtaordinary performer. I have only one complaint - why are the people in Berlin and Paris so lucky? Please come to Winnipeg - it has been too long since you performed here! Buy this blu-ray. I guarantee you will not regret it.

Dieser Konzertmitschnitt entstand im Rahmen der 2017-Tour zum ersten Rockalbum vom sonst solo eher jazzlastigen Ex-Frontsänger der britischen Rockformation The Police. Mit dabei Langzeitmitstreiter Dominic Miller an der Gitarre und dessen Sohn Rufus (ebenfalls an der Gitarre), ebenso wie Stings eigener Sohn Joseph "Joe" Sumner (Background-Gesang und Konzertgitarre). Die insgesamt fünf-köpfige Combo (plus diverse Backing-SängerInnen) gibt Songs vom aktuellen Album "57th & 9th World" ebenso rockig zum Besten wie diverse Interpretationen alter Police-Klassiker wie etwa "Message In A Bottle" oder "Roxanne", die vom Publikum genauso abgefeiert werden wie einige der besten Songs aus Stings vergangenem Solo-Repertoire. Alles in Allem ein grandioses Line-up an Musikern in Bestform und Songs, die in der vorliegenden Form und Formation lange oder nie zu Gehör kamen! Hier findet sich der Solo-Sting-Fan vergangener und aktueller Tage ebenso wieder wie der Fan von The Police. Und das alles in perfekter Bildkomposition und Qualität, denn Besseres in Sachen BD-Bildquali rotierte jedenfalls als Konzermitschnitt noch nicht in meinem Player! Schärfe, Farben und Bildruhe sind absolut outstanding! Auch der Sound kommt grandios rüber, wenngleich eigentlich nur in Stereo vorliegend. Mit einem guten Surround-Verstärker lässt sich der Ton aber hervorragend auf bis zu 7.1-Kanäle aufbohren, die dabei sogar brauchbar räumlich klingen, was bestätigt, dass hier ein sehr gutes Raumtonmaster vorliegt, welches vermutlich auf Wunsch des Künstlers nachträglich auf "nur" 2.0 reduziert wurde. Obwohl ich schon seit Police-Zeiten Fan des Ausnahmetalents bin, ist Sting mit diesem grandiosen Live-Mitschnitt in meiner Gunst nochmals gestiegen. Als singender Bassist habe ich Hochachtung vor seiner Leistung im zarten Alter von 67 Jahren, womit der werte Herr auf den Tag genau 20 Jahre älter ist als ich. Klar stehe ich heute noch auf der Bühne und hoffe, dass mir das ob diesem Vorbild auch in zwanzig Jahren noch gelingt! Weiter so Mister Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner alias STING (the King)! Bellissimo concerto , ottima qualità video e musicale. Sting resta sempre un grande artista, in tutti i sensi. Lo consiglio senz'altro anche a chi desidera avere nella propria raccolta musicale un artista ed un concerto di grande qualità da apprezzare con un buon impianto audiovideo.
