HOSAGPP-105 1/4" TRS to 1/4" TRS Coupler, Black

Not much to write. It does the job well.

I use this to occasionally connect two  Monster Keyboard - 12' Instrument Cable - Straight to Straight 1/4" plugs  together when twelve feet is not sufficiently long. For that cable brand and model this connector works like a charm.A few things I like are the fact that this does not introduce extraneous noise into the signal path, and the cables I cited snap firmly into the female ends and hold firmly. I am not doubting other reviews that claim they need tape to hold cables in, but that comes down to the cable itself. For the higher end Monster cables this is not an issue for me.Since I only occasionally need to use this connector I cannot speak to the overall longevity. Time will tell on that and if it prematurely fails I will update my rating and review to reflect that. Thus far, however, this has performed as a five star product for me and has allowed me to avoid buying a longer instrument cable.

This is the 4th brand of this type of adapter I've tried and it has the best retention ( less likely to have the inserted cables accidentally dislodged). Two of the previous brands were easily dislodged, one of them was slightly better than the other and was clearly one of the most durable because it has a metal body. And the 4th adapter had good connector retention but has a much larger body, which is also very durable (and expensive). This Hosa adapter is very light and small, and the body is non-metallic, it's probably not as durable as the others, but I'm not using it where I would accidentally step on it so its should be just fine in my environment.

Does what it's for

Good connector at a great price. I used this to help extend my rocksmith cable and it does a fine job. The jacks lock in good and solid and don't pull loose easily.I might have a different opinion if I was plugging and unplugging the coupler a lot. Dunno because I'm not. Just making a long cable with a USB connector on one end.As for how it sounds, it's fine. I checked it with a monitor speaker and didn't notice a difference between a normal cable and two cables with this coupler holding them together.Given the price, I bought two just in case one goes bad.

Not much to say about this. It works, is pretty sturdy (I stepped on it a couple of times, and no cracks), and holds the lines together even with a slight accidental tug. I don't use it often, but I keep it in my guitar case and have had occasion to run a 1/4" patch cord directly into a mixer that was a little too far away for my standard cord. If you are going to use one in an "active" situation (i.e., when you are playing an instrument and rocketing about on the stage) get some gaffer's tape and sheathe the two plugs and the unit. Or better yet, get a wireless feed or a long-enough cord.

Fits tightly, works perfectly. I bought the same coupler at Guitar Center for $4.99. I now have two, and they're both perfect. However, the mixed reviews here show that this company has a big quality control problem (waddya expect -- cheap and made in China). If you get a bad one, get it replaced.TRS, by the way, means it couples stereo cables. Mono cables -- instruments, mikes, pedals, etc. -- work just fine with this coupler, but you'll lose a channel if you try to connect a stereo cable (TRS) to a mono cable (TS). Get a TRS to TS coupler for that.

I need 1 of these. The price and single unit availability were no-brainer. I couldn't find one easily in my town with buying a 6-pack for way more than I wanted to spend.

ヘッドホン接続で片耳だけ。ステレオにはならない。ステレオ→モノ接続端子？。4個購入し3個開封してしまったから、返品諦めた。ヘッドホン５種目で、このアダプター３つ目で、接続の完了しない位置で音が出たが、その位置に固定できない。粗悪品かと。
