The media could not be loaded. I took a star off because replacing the battery is difficult, you need to unscrew it to replace, it takes 2x 1.5v AAA battery and its hidden behind screws. It is very sensitive the moment it touches water it will sound the alarm, the design and quality is superior, and can come in handly when you know there might be a leak, and it can save you money.I used it in the bathroom under the sink, where I found a leak the other day. I fixed it but who knows if it will leak again this way i will know. Very little issue with it, which is the battery is fully sealed by external screws. Want to say also that it sounded the alarm on my gold cloth because before i put that on the cloth I had some wet mousse spill just before recording.I guess it didn't dry up yet, and it sounded when it touched a lightly damp gold cloth, so this means its quite sensitive to water humidity touching the sensors on the bottom. Hard not to like this, it is a convenient way of detecting liquid leak.

The media could not be loaded. 🌟 We have a pipe in our downstairs boiler cupboard that on occasion can leak slightly after heavy down pour of rain. Usually it's fine if we catch it with a small bowl. This little alarm detects if there is a leak or flood when water starts to drip onto it.➕️ The alarm comes boxed and includes instructions. The alarm takes 2 x AAA batteries but they come already pre installed in the alarm➕️ It has a sensor button on the bottom that you need to hold for 3 seconds to activate the alarm. It will bleep and flash red to show it's activated. You can then test the alarm by holding the button in again. It will then flash red and bleep 3 times quickly➕️ The alarm is very loud! Pretty much like a smoke alarm in terms of loudness. When water starts to leak onto the top of the alarm, the alarm will go off and will stay this way until you press the sensor button. You need to make sure the alarm is dried off to completely disable it➕️ The alarm is small and compact, fits in the palm of the hand, so it's not bulky and noticeable.🌟 I now have the alarm sitting underneath the pipe in our boiler cupboard. No leaks yet but I'm sure it will happen eventually and there's no way I won't hear this alarm going off when it does!

This water leak sensor alarm (Model No: WS01) arrived in a nice looking, small, X-Sense branded, cardboard box. Included in the box was the alarm itself (with batteries already installed), and a User Manual.The alarm feels reasonably well made. The body is plastic, but it still feels fairly robust. It is quite small and discrete, measuring just 3cm tall, with a diameter of 7.7cm.On the top of the alarm is a circular grove with two sensors, so that it can detect any water that drops onto it. There is also, under the plastic cover, a red LED indicator light. On the base of the alarm are four sensors, along with the control button (which is used for starting and testing the sensor, as well as for turning off the alarm).Two AAA batteries are already in the alarm when you receive it, so it should be good to go (just remove the plastic tab, and press the control button for 3 seconds until the red LED flashes). When the battery goes low, the red LED light flashes and the Alarm beeps once every 60 seconds to warn you. I guess due to the size and shape of the alarm they could not fit in an easily accessible battery compartment, so instead, in order to change the batteries you need to unscrew 3 cross head screws and remove the base in order to get at them.In use the alarm worked well, and it is at least as loud as my fire alarm. Stopping the alarm once activated was easy (you just press the control button to silence the alarm, you then have 10 seconds to dry the sensors before it starts to go off again). Due to its design, it does work best in scenarios where you can place it close to where any water is likely to leak, such as under a sink.In conclusion, this is a really nice, well made water leak sensor alarm. It is easy to use, and should be loud enough to hear throughout most standard sized UK houses. The only slight niggle is needing to unscrew three screws to replace the battery, but its not enough of one to knock a star off for.~ Amazon asked me to review this product and to give my honest and impartial opinion about it. The video shows show it all.This product was one of the best mainly because:1) Excellent build quality2) Rigid, smooth and no manufacturing deformations nor abnormalities.3) Battery lasts for 3 years.4) Alarm sounds if you pour water from top or if it comes from bottom,5) Great audio warning beepHaving this under the bath saves so much hassle and money mainly it would prevent a ceiling disaster if water leaks from the top bathroom, this catches it up in time and did show to work very well.Highly recommended.

Der Wassermelder liegt neben der Abdeckung eines Pumpenschachtes. Montage denkbar einfach: auf den Boden legen, fertig. Getestet habe ich das gerät vorher in einer flachen Schlüssel. Sobald ca. 1-2mm Wasser unter dem Gerät sind, legt es los. Und das wirklich laut. Das kann man eigentlich nicht überhören. Mein Mieter hat mal aus Versehen den Gartenschlauch laufen lassen, wobei dann die Drainage voll gelaufen ist und etwas Wasser aus dem Schacht kam. Das Gerät schlug an, selbst die Nachbarin hat den Alarm an der Straße gehört... Ich werde mir so ein Gerät neben meine Waschmaschine und neben die Spülmaschine legen. Sicher ist sicher...

Acquistato per casa dei miei si è già rivelato utilissimo, acquisto consigliatissimo, il volume dell’allarme è più che sufficiente e la presenza di sensori sia sotto che sopra sono un notevole plus.

allarme a salve ripetute di 3 squilli molto potenti,molto utile il pulsante di prova,ottimo acquisto,se mi serviranno altri allarmi di questo tipo lo acquisterò ancora
