A Great Build!
The16-page color pamphlet was missing. The booklet is supposed to be rich in background/history and illustrate paint schemes. Now I have to wing it. I'm disappointed, but it's not a deal-killer. The shell parts are highly detailed, surprisingly so. The problem with clear plastic is that it scratches easily, so you must be extremely careful. Also, painting is a bitch. I'm faced with a huge masking problem in order to get the model to look like the cover art! And also had to buy an airbrush, which I've never used. But airbrushing is the only way to get this thing looking decent. The items on the tree are well-constructed and detailed and fit together perfectly. However, the 1-inch alien figures seemed at first unrealistically tiny in scale to the craft. (But they're not!) A thirteen-inch diameter shell at 1:48 scale would indicate the actual craft is about 52' in diameter, exactly what Bob Lazar reported. Four-foot characters in a 52-ft craft may seem eye-popping, but it's not unrealistic when you consider that we 6-ft creatures travel in 40-ft long airliners with a 36-ft wingspan, and we're almost twice as tall as the EBEs. A four-foot EBE on a 1:48 scale would be 1" in height, so it's right on. ABOUT ONBOARD ENERGY STORAGE: I can't find where anyone mentions onboard energy storage in relation to the S4 craft Lazar worked on. I would have expected the flight deck of the craft to be much thicker and layered with alternating dialectics and conductors to function as a giant capacitor for storing electro-gravitic energy. Like an electric automobile, a craft would seem to need an energy source to power-up and manage stable inflight energy flow (and preserve computer memory if it has one). I haven't found this issue mentioned anywhere on YouTube except in relation to earlier alien reproduction vehicles.
