This Squid plush doll that we named ‘Zissou‘ has been the perfect companion for a kitten that was orphaned at 1 week old. Zissou’s tentacles are perfect for the kitten to play with and snuggle into. After 3 months we have been able to put it in the washer and dryer and it has held up with no tears or rips. Fur is still fluffy.

This squid is beloved. Look at that angry squid face, how can you not love him. But also fear him.

We bought one of these for our daughter when she was about 3 months old, at the NC Aquarium gift shop. She is now 2 1/2 years old and she still has that original squid. I bought her 2 more, but she lost one when we were on a nature trail in Raleigh, he fell out of her stroller, and that was the most miserable 2.5 hour car ride. She doesn't go anywhere without him. He is extremely durable, and has proven to be machine washable on delicate. He is super soft, and his color and softness is still great after 2 years. He is the perfect size for her to carry around and cuddle. She loves him, and he goes everywhere with her.

My 5 year old really likes this squid, it is a good size to cuddle and is very soft. The red color is fantastic and the details on this are great. The tentacles are cool, with some of them having a slight curl to them, so they are more realistic. They also dress up well in doll clothes, which all our stuffies have to do from time to time. I would purchase this again.

This squid is so soft and nice. My dog loved this and destroying it, trying to take the eyes off.
