MTECH USA MX-A849CL Spring Assist Folding Knife, Straight Edge Blade, American Flag Handle, 5" Closed

Got a lot of compliments on this knife. It is sturdy and looks good. Haven't had to sharpen it yet. It is a little larger than my previous EDC knives but not so bulky to be a bummer. I like it.

I bought this knife in 2018 and I've carried it on my person nearly every day since. I use it frequently and it's held up perfectly. Very sturdy and well made mechanism that barely has any additional slop since I got it. Insanely good value!

Over all I am very impressed with these knives doe the money. They aren't the sharpest out of the box nor the most refined. But for the price they are better than most I've handled in the range. We bought 4 of these as collectable gifts over EDC. Out of the 4, 2 hand very nice and smooth actions. 2 did not open as nicely and required oiling and working to get opening more smoothly. Finish is very nice with the artwork on the blade being etched not just printed like other knives I've seen. The aluminum handle scales are machined nicely, feel good in hand and look great. My only complaint would be it is a patriotic knife made in China... but at this price what do you expect?

I love this!! I bought it for my boyfriends birthday and he is in love . It is sturdy and so nice. The flag isn’t in both sides of the knife but I think it looks good either way. It came sharp and in a box I could wrap up and gift to him! I love it. I would definitely buy again.
