Not trustable product
The product was working for someday with proper external power but with the same setting, the products start blinking the LED and the same rythemic sound on speaker without expected output. Pls Suggest if any fix for it.

Well-built and reasonably priced
I wanted to use this product to convert digital audio from my HDTV to analog signal using a Toslink/Optical cable. However, I was unable to do so. It was not because the product was faulty, it was just due to the fact that there was some sort of fault with the TV's optical output, I assumed. So as the product was not compatible with my system, there was no point in keeping it and had to return it. I have no negative feeling or remark about the product or the seller. The product looked well-built and robust and I encourage buyers to consider.

Works really well for the ps4 connection to my studio monitors.

I noticed another review that claimed the DAC was no good (too loud and no bass)... while I am old school, and not very smart on newer digital-to-analog technologies, I can safely say that the output signal represents a full sound stage with an healthy / acceptable volume (db) level, which is my case was preferred. So you may want to disregard that particular review and go ahead and give it a try - after all for how inexpensive this little unit is, I am quite pleased.

Worked as advertised. Enables me to connect Optical Out sound on my LG TV to an older but good Bose surround sound system that only has RCA sound input. Powered from the TV USB output with supplied cable. Provide your own RCA red/white cable.

Doesn’t work well at all - don’t waster your money. Has a continuous hhmm sound and volume controls don’t work!

connected to my Samsung tv using optic cable and connected to my JBL speaker with 3.5mm jack, when i play the Youtube the sound come out as it should but when I play the Netflix and and other movie the sound distorted and harming loud
