Camco 42964 Gray Premium Wrap Around RV Step Rug (PVC Material (17.5" x 18"))

These are cushion-y when stepping down out of the RV, and they do not hold water like the polyester carpet type I am replacing - I was tired of soggy socks. The size is generous and covers the step completely, not just down the middle with metal showing on the sides like other rugs. Only time will tell if they will hold their color or will fade from sun, but I'm hopeful as these seem to be a good quality product. Update: After almost two years the color has held up as well as the overall durability. Happy with purchase! Update: After four years, husband wanted to replace the garage step rugs on our toy hauler. So we ordered two of these in the smaller size; rather disappointed to find that they are now HALF the thickness of the ones I purchased (and reviewed here) four years ago.

Received these step covers today and installed them. My purpose for ordering them was to help keep dirt, leaves, grass, etc, from being tracked into my RV. However, after installation, I vacuumed the entire RV and went out to throw out the boxes and wiped my feet as I came in, on all three steps I installed the mats in, but then noticed grass in the kitchen. Looked at the bottom of my shoes, and, you guessed it, there was grass still on my shoes!!!The covers look nice on the steps and fit well, but if you are looking for something to clean your feet and shoes before entering, this this is not your product.I like that they are PVC and many people said they don’t absorb water and stay sqishy, but they are slick and have no rough surface to help clean off the bottoms of dirty shoes and feet.Sooooooo disappointed!!!!! 😞🙁

These step covers are really well made and should last for many years. They have a roughly surface that scrape the dirt off your shoes, and they don’t stay soggy when wet. And they make the steps less scary and slippery for my little dogs to descend. The only problem is that the way my trailer steps fold make it impossible to fold the steps with these step covers installed. I can leave the top step cover on, but not the bottom two. But I like these covers enough that I just take the bottom two covers off when we’re ready to store the steps.

Very easy to install on my electric two step entry. The fit was very nice and I really like how spongy they feel and the rubber like backing. Step does close completely with no issues. My only complaint was I ordered two brown ones and the color i got looks dark purple! Don't see that as an option. I think someone at the factory needs help identifying colors! Only time will tell how well they hold up.

This step cover is superior to the carpet or astro-turf designs. It removes dirt and debris from shoes so you don't track it into the coach. My retractable stairs operate without binding am my coach is kept much cleaner. I deducted on star because the black color is so much more expensive than the grey which I also purchased to complete my stairs. Easy installation with very secure spring hooks. I may swap for zip ties at some point should the springs sag or fail but for now everything is secure.

This is an excellent product. I got it just before leaving on a trip to a beach campground for our 5th wheel. Even with 2 adults, 2 yorkies and big dog, this helped keep the sand and dirt in the trailer to a minimum. I plan on getting 2 more to more for the other steps.

We bought these (4 of them) for our 5th wheel steps. We got our camper delivered and set up... AND THEN it started to snow! Gotta love MN weather in the spring! 4+ inches. Good test for these step wraps, we were able to go in without tracking all the wet snow and mud into our new RV. I had purchased the lesser priced ones for my last camper, but found the dirt/mud was still getting tracked in. These have been a great add to our unit and would purchase these again for future steps.

These are completely perfect for my two dogs under 22lbs to be comfortable going up and down the stairs to my RV. Well worth the money to not have to lift either dog to get in or out. Love them. Don’t move around. Feel very secure. And even in muddy rainy situations they were fantastic.

It does dry faster than cloth, and I believe it holds/wipes off dust and debris (haven't tried to enter the trailer with thick mud on my shoes; and anyone else who considers it had better 'duck')It does get grimy and soaked while driving in the rain... not easy to remove at a campsite to clean and dry before you need to get inside the trailer. So now I need to carry another piece of carpet to put over this so we can get in to set up until this does dry.

These steps are exactly what they say they are. Great at trapping mud allow water to flow through them so that you don’t get wet feet. They are a little bit more pricier than the other step options but work great. I can only leave the one on when folding up the stairs so I have have to put one on when I arrive at the campsite but not a big deal, good quality

I returned it as it was not what I expected, I have never seen one quite like this. I think it would be very good if you are in an area where you need to clean your shoes off before entering the trailer.

very well made and very easy to fit. works extremely well and the steps close without a problem. it is fitted to a 2018 Newmar Bay Star Sport 2072. I might add zap straps together with the springs supplied for extra security.
