His I was very disappointed with this product after the owner reached out to me because I left a bad review I was offered a full refund then when it come down to it he said only a partial refund I told him just make it right send me a product that works he refused and quit all communication spend your money somewhere else don't waste it on this too many issues definitely not waterproof first rain they went out were installed by a shop no some shade tree guys so yea it's just bad product

Overall I rate these a 3.5 but there is no half stars.I have run these on my truck for about 8 months and I will say they are definitely durable I have mud terrain tires on my truck and go mudding, gravel traveling and crawling with it and these lights have helped up great and just look awesome. No complains with them either they are bright but I do have 2 pods per fender well to help even out the light spread. Only complaint I have is that the wires that come with the lights aren't long enough for a crew cab short bed truck depending on where you mount the controller. I have my in the fire wall in the engine bay of my truck. That leads to my 2nd complaint is the Bluetooth absolutely sucks. My phone can be 2' from it and work great but 3' and it just won't connect at all. I know there is a layer of metal in between the controller and my phone but Bluetooth is better than that.

I bought my first set of these lights 2 years ago do I figured this would be a good time to give a real world review. I was really pleased with the quality of the light pods as I unpacked them. They mounted pretty easily considering my intended setup. I did have a problem with some of them going out about 1 year in. Seller stood behind their warranty and provided me with a new set. My second set were mounted in a more traditional wheel well setup and they have also stood up to many full water and mud submersions. The app that drives them can be a little touchy sometime and does not provide a way to adjust multiple sets at the same time, but with only 2 sets its not too hard to switch between the 2 to get the colors I want. The extension cables are great for reaching to the back wheel wells or other setups that are too far away from the controller. I bought 4 of these for my setup.So here are my observations: - Bright, yes these are very bright in my grill/light bar setup but I did have to use 2 lights per wheel well as rock lights - They are easy to mount to just about anything. They come with rubber mounts that can be mounted to flat surfaces or roll bars right out of the box. The rubber is easily trimmed if you need to customize your mounting. 2 sizes of bolts are also supplied with the set. - Color selection is unlimited. Red/Green/Blue are the base colors. Combination colors look good as long as the lights do not face the viewer as you will see the separate variations of RGB. The colors blend great in locations such as wheel wells. - Newer sets have circuitry to "remember" last and on next turn on go back to that color setting. My older set didn't seem to do this and was a pain point. - Longevity is questionable as I experienced specific colors going out and others have also mentioned this in their reviews. **Please see my suggestions below to address this -It takes a while for bluetooth to connect before you can turn your lights on. I found a way around this that I wish the manufacturer had included with the set. **Please see my suggestions below to address thisSUGGESTIONS: 1. To increase longevity and avoid color loss, put a dab of Di-Electric Grease on each connection when you install them! I thought I had 7 bad LEDs but after adding the DE grease ALL LEDs WORKED. Needless to say I went around and put the grease on all 17 of my connections. 2. For better control of my light sets and to eliminate the power-up/bluetooth connection "wait time", I installed a switch on each of my sets. This is so much nicer than having to open the app to turn the lights on/off. You will need to cut the thin "RED" ground wire on the LIGHT SIDE wire bundle of the controller. (Yes I said red ground wire! These are Chinese so they do not use the same wiring color codes we do in USA). DO NOT USE THE POWER SIDE RED WIRE, IT WILL NOT WORK FOR THIS MOD! Wire in a switch mounted in the truck/car to flip your lights on/off on demand.

I had the 8 pod set installed at a local shop and they did a great job. Everything was great with them for about a year. 2 of the 8 pods lost one of the red LED's about 8 months later, made the 2 pods look like blue lights when I was trying for purple, no big deal. However after about 1 year, I woke up to the alarm going off on my truck and the rock lights were on in strange colors when I knew I had turned them off earlier. I went to turn them off and my entire truck was DEAD. The doors wouldn't unlock using the key fob. Used my key and the interior lights wouldn't turn on and the engine wouldn't start. I finally figured out it was the rock lights causing the problem. After I disconnected the rock lights from the battery the truck ran normally. It had rained heavily the previous few days so I assume the control box must have gotten water in it, I've got the system permanently disconnect since. I'd highly recommend putting some electrical insulation varnish all over the control box before installing it just to be safe (you can get it at Home Depot). Good product overall, just needs some better waterproofing (at least in my case).

These are a really nice show edition to my JKU. I enjoyed the ease of installation and the brightness of the lights themselves. I am however having the troubles of Bluetooth operation like others have mentioned. Seems the range isn’t that far. I have connection issues from one side of the vehicle but not in the other. Not a big deal. Once they are on and working they are great. Nice product.

The biggest pain was not the anything to do with the lights but just my personal wanting to route the cables better. The Bluetooth range isn’t great so mounting the control box inside the Jeep behind the middle console worked great, ran all the cables to the lights out of the passenger seat drain plug and used zip ties to attach most of them. All the functions on the app work great and you can light up your vehicle!

My picture introduces the best but these lights work great. Mine is the one in green. Cable management gets a bit difficult but if you get creative you shouldn't need any extensions. I put eight on my XJ (one in each wheel well as well as two along each rock rail for each side) with no extenders. They work great but I would recommend installing them with a kill switch because a couple of times it wouldn't reconnect after they were turned on and I had to disconnect my battery and figure out the bluetooth again. Not hard but a little frustrating.
