Poor at receiving radio reception. Would not recommend.

Love the length. Radio cuts out sometimes, but usually it’s good

Looks great on my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sport Unlimited! I like not having a long antenna swaying, and it looks great. Easy to apply, feels secure. I bought this not only for aesthetics, but because my radio has been cutting out and I thought it might solve that if it were an antenna issue (it's not). So unfortunately I cannot comment on range, clarity, or sound quality.. Fortunately my satellite radio works a LOT better than the radio (when it wants to). Once I have the system fixed properly I'll edit my review to let you know if this antenna really makes a better difference in reception than my original one did.

Definitely help get some channels back on the radio and it still looks good

The original 3-foot (not quite) antenna was distracting and seemed to be a magnet for things like branches. Jeep should just install these little nubs instead! The old just twisted off, this just twisted on. I did have to use a wrench to start turning the old one off, which felt easier as it's entirely metal and flattened a bit to accommodate a wrench. This is coated in rubber and round, so I didn't wrench it on the same, to not damage the covering. Anyone with the desire and a strong grip can twist it off, but it seems no one thinks to do so. I'm not sure a locking washer would help, unless the rubber could handle the pinch of a pliers. I've never noticed a problem with the radio reception, have received a few "that's neat" comments, and often catch myself wondering if it's still there, 'cause you can't see it from inside the Jeep.
