EG Homewares Glass Storage Bottle Jars Vials with Cork Stopper Lid - Sets of 3 or 6

I ordered a set of 3 x 500ml size, to decant plastic bottles of oils into, having read that oil may react with plastic, which isn't very attractive anyway and tends to go sticky and pour badly. The bottles came very fast and were securely packed. No casualties. They are robust; their design makes them easy to lift and grip, and they have a wide mouth that makes filling them no trouble. The corks fit well. They are also very ornamental in themselves and look good in the kitchen; I'm very pleased with them.

I love these bottles, they arrive unbelievably quickly are well packaged, a good price and nice shape.Only negative is the sticky label on the side of each which is a pig to get off, I have told the firm about this and they seemed keen to remedy it - here’s hoping.Fantastic service from this companyThese are great for liqueurs

I ordered the 100ml size and a few days later the 250ml size.The bottles are really lovely, very sturdy and perfect for my requirements. The corks fit nice and tight. Delivery was a lot faster than predicted too.The reason I took a star off was the packaging. So much packaging tape wrapped around all the jars which takes a long time to take off (I think they wrapped it 3 x round each bottle) due to cutting tape, ripping g off tape AND removing tape residue.Then the white sticky label just will not budge. I tried olive oil. I tried the dishwasher, I soaked them in fairy liquid and hot water, then scraped with a knife and then finally scrubbing the last of the glue residue with a scourer AND scrubbing brush.Finally, used some alcohol to get the very last of the glue off. I'm not joking when I say it took a good half hour to get rid of the labels (excluding dishwasher attempt)NOTE TO SUPPLIERS:FIRSTLY: you don't need that much packaging tape to secure the bottles, especially since they're bubble wrapped AND/OR padded with paper packaging.Secondly, please review the glue used on the labels, its excessively strong and incredibly frustrating to remove.Seriously it would have been 5 stars if I hadn't had to faff around with the labels...

Fantastic product and really well made. Customer service second to non. I had a problem with the corks and they replied within hours and sorted the problem within 24hrs. Will be recommending and ordering again

I like the bottles very much - they're pretty, a good size and the cork fits very well. However I'm very surprised that they didn't break as the packaging was pretty shoddy. The labels are, as others have also said, really difficult to get off. Not impossible - I soaked them overnight and then used The Pink Stuff (thank you Mrs Hinch) to get off the residue which worked well but it was a lot of effort for something that could be easily avoided.

Great product. Bought for craft project and they are perfect for the bottle lights and are a perfect size, smaller than a wine bottle plus the squared shape makes them look a little different to the normal
