Café styled coffee at Home!! Stylish, powerful, and a worthwhile investment.. if you have the space!
If you're serious about coffee, the Barista Express Impress is an incredible choice. This machine does take up a bit of space and comes with a higher price tag, but it absolutely delivers café-quality drinks right at home. Pros: + The design is stunning and feels very premium. + Built-in grinder, intelligent dosing system, and assisted tamping make the process smooth and consistent. + Tons of customisation options — you can adjust grind size, dose, and extraction with ease. + The drinks it makes (including hot chocolate!) are fantastic. Easily rivals your local coffee shop. + The intelligent dose system even remembers your settings, saving time on future uses. + It’s fun to use and a real conversation starter when guests are around. Cons: - It’s large — make sure you have enough counter space, especially for using the steam wand. - There’s a learning curve, but with some trial and error, you'll get amazing results. - It can be noisy, and the portafilter basket can be tricky to remove. - The steam wand gets very hot so keep it out of reach of children! - It's not cheap but the build quality and results almost justify the price in my opinion. Tip: If you’re new to this, start with grind size 16 and use freshly roasted beans. I’ve linked the ones I use, and they make a big difference. In Summary: The Barista Express Impress is a high quality, stylish coffee machine that delivers excellent, café style drinks at home. It maybe large and noisy but it's results make it a worthwhile investment for serious coffee lovers.

NO COFFEE IN BED
Almost bought a cheaper machine with a famous expresso name, but after reading reviews and watching videos decided on the Sage. I really love it; solidly made; well designed; makes GREAT COFFEE. You soon become one with the process, far better than the bean to cup machine malarkey. Money well spent; I seem to use less coffee than with a cafetiere so I should recoup the outlay in about 30 years! The only downside is that a certain person refuses to learn how to use it, so I will never get a cuppa in bed again.

The best coffee, and simple to use and clean
We have been a long standing user of various coffee pods but due to a company failing to deliver us coffee pods for 3 weeks we had had enough and decided to take the plunge into a bean to cup machine. After doing reviews this machine seemed perfect for us being novices! The machine is simple to use after watching a couple of YouTube videos and is simple to operate. It only takes a little longer than a pod machine to use and clean. I find it a pleasure to make coffee and I actually look forward to the process and the coffee...wow....amazing. My wife likes it black and I like it with milk heated with the steam jet thing! We are spending around £20 / month on 2kg of Beans (from Amazon) rather than the £50+ on Pods! For much nicer coffee. I wish I had done this years ago!

Sage coffee machine
Excellent coffee machine, I think it would benefit in 2 ways, a water level sensor. It’s really annoying that it doesn’t have one. Especially when you have ground the coffee and all you can hear is an odd vibration signifying no water!! 1 other point, it would be good to have e standby button for the machine. These are small points, because the machine is excellent, built well, extremely easy to use, the puck system is brilliant and not a gimmick. Worth the extra money. Overall this machine is a coffee machine that offers great quality coffee every time you use it. It also is excellent build quality, and over the course of owning it, will definitely be worth the extra expense.

Makes perfect coffee every time.
Replaced our older model that had a manual tamper. This one is so much better because there are no messy coffee grinds spread about. By simply moving the tamper lever to the stop position a couple of times every tamp is the same each time.

An amazing practical machine that makes great coffee, but read the instructions!
The only thing that has tripped me up with this great machine is that I didn't read the instructions, so when the filter lights flashed and it wouldn't grind my beans, I thought it was jammed! It turned out that I hadn't pushed the portaflter into the grind mechanism properly. Doh! Apart from that, this is a really easy machine to use, makes great coffee and it easy to keep clean and maintain. I love using it and I love the coffee it makes.

Excellent Sage coffee machine!
I took a chance on a refurbished item, when it arrived it was clear this item was brand new, I don't think it had even been opened, not a mark on it, the packaging was unmarked as well. After unpacking it was clear it was a perfect item, extremely pleased with this Coffee machine. It has performed as a new machine, no faults at all.
