Be sure it fits your exact version. If the cutouts are wrong you likely bought the wrong case for your device. I ordered a skin from MightySkin and since it's a glorified sticker I wanted to keep it on as long as possible without the corners peeling. So this case was perfect! It offers protection and still let's me enjoy the fun design of the skin I chose. I think it's unique lol. The wake or power button sits perfectly in the cutout so it's easy to start reading or putting it to sleep and the charge port is still nice and accessible. The case gives it a nice little thickness to hold on to without adding too much weight. A great purchase!

Perfect case if you want to add stuff to show underneath it.

This is the perfect case to hold stickers on my kindle. Like many kindle readers, I love decorating with stickers, but hate the residue it leaves behind! Someone came up with this genius idea of placing stickers on the kindle still wrapped (?) and using a clear case to hold them in place. Now I can switch out my stickers regularly without worry about sticky spots! I also put a popsocket on my cases for easier handling. The only complaint I have is that with the popsocket, the case does begin to lose its tightness after a few months and doesn’t sit flush against the case. I don’t think you’d run into this issue if you don’t use a popsocket, but I know many people do.
