Fiskars Power Punch XL - Circle, Ø 5 cm, For Left- and Right-handed Use, Steel/Plastic, White/Orange, 1020498

I bought this punch with great expectations. After all a punch that would be able to work with a large variety of media besides paper is extremely useful. Problem is it's a lie. I can't figure what kind of plastic, wood or metal they claim it can be punched, because 95% of the materials I have used the punch can't either punch at all or does a really lousy job. And I tested a wide variety of materials to be sure. This is a problem that affects ALL thick punches from Fiskars. A fraud unfortunately.

Didn’t cut leather I needed it to. It got stuck in the machine rendering it useless BUT for paper, card etc it’s a lovely little punch, just didn’t do what I needed it to as advertised. Returned easily

It’s an alright product and does the job bit it’s not the BEST. You have to press down really hard to cut the circles out and when cutting small 3mm craft foam the circles did not have a clean cut edge and I had to use scissors to cut round the foam so it was kind of pointless. Not worth £15 in my opinion.

Great punch for paper or thin card but unable to use on other craft materials such as felt or foam as too thick to insert into punch.

Best if used upside down so you can see exactly what is being punched out

Not as good at cutting as I had hoped

It is moderately expensive for what it is but this is an excellent product that cuts through 300gsm card easily (even 2 sheets)
