💡Installation tip:The Anker clamp is adjustable. If it doesn't fit under your desk lip at first, just loosen and reposition the screws to lower the anchor arm (anchor clamp)—I’ve included a photo of the area I mean. Once I did that, it fit perfectly.I truly don’t understand why this has a high return rate—this desk extender is awesome once you know how to install it correctly. I mainly use it as a dedicated spot for my notepad, and it has completely changed my work setup for the better.Before this, I had to move my mouse or awkwardly bend over the far side of my desk just to jot something down. That constant twisting and hunching was wrecking my back. It's very easy to install (and presumably remove though I haven't had to yet). Assembly is not tricky at all, even with the folding mechanism. And it seems sturdy enough. I think it's great. If anyone at school makes fun of you for having this instead of simply a larger desk then you go and show them this review. That'll fix `em.

My work from home setup involves two monitors and a laptop. My desk (which is old and I’m looking to replace) is on the smaller side but fits the two monitors just fine. The laptop, however, spends its time on the crafting (un-job-related) bookshelf next to the desk. However, we need to be able to maintain a visual of all 3 screens and the laptop has to be either center or to the right of the other two monitors. Up until now, this has involved me semi-precariously balancing the laptop slightly off the edge of the bookshelf and turned toward me so I can maintain a visual of it. It’s a solid bookshelf and the bulk of the laptop’s weight was supported by the bookshelf, so it wasn’t dangerously placed, but still a hazard. Accidents happen. I have ADHD, and do not sit still, so I shift around A Lot. My dog tends to join me for work and makes himself at home under my desk. Heck, New Jersey (where I live) had a couple earthquakes the other day. All of this lead up to this purchase. All I needed was something to make the top of the bookcase stick out a little longer so the laptop was properly supported.This was it! Exactly what I needed. Easy to assemble. It’s just 4 screws. The shelf is collapsable, in an intentional way—to prevent accidental collapse. It’s sturdy. It’s got some weight to it, but it’s not heavy and won’t topple the bookshelf (plus the bookshelf is also weighted down by the crafting supplies on it). I gave it a good few wiggle tests just to make sure everything was secure and didn’t need tightening. The screws are kind of short and you just screw them through the holes as instructed, so I wasn’t sure how good their hold would be, at first. It’s solid. It does its job and fulfills the exact need I had for it. I’m positively pleased with this purchase and take comfort in knowing my work laptop is secure now.

This is an excellent product. It is well made, sturdy, first class quality. There is two aspects of the product which did trouble me. I would have give a rating of 4.5 stars but I did not know how to do this. There are 3 screw hoe ports on each side of the trey. However, the bracket does not fit flush on the tray if you try to use all 3 holes. Consequently, I had to use just two screw holes. This results in a space between the trey and my desk after the trey is secured. Secondly, the screws provided have an extremely small head to fit a normal screw driver. I have a set of 20 screwdrivers and they were all to large. Fortunately, I found a micro screw driver in my junk draw and this worked.

I got this for a mouse pad on a chair I have. A little bit small for a mouse pad, and the carbon fiber print seems to cause the mouse to jump a little bit.Seems very sturdy and has never failed me, just know that it takes a little more space underneath than I would hope, but a necessity to do what it does.

I got this desk extender to give me just a little bit more desktop space on the small computer table that I had recently acquired here at the A to Z store. I like the table that I had gotten and if I was only trying to use my laptop on it, that table would be pretty much perfect as is. Unfortunately I found that I really need a second monitor (I have a portable LCD panel that works great for that, also obtained here at the A to Z store) and thus was finding the small table's table top just a bit too small.This extender is a nice match, color wise, to the table top that I had gotten and it does give me the space that I want, but.... well, there's some disappointment here, for me, in that it doesn't want to sit as flat as it should. It actually sits with a bit of a rise to one side of the surface, going from what should be even with the table it is attaching to a rise on the other end of the extension. In other words, if I put a marble over on the end of the extension it would roll downwards towards the table the extension runs off of.That issue with the extension not sitting level caused me issues with my LCD panel caused a problem where the LCD panel wouldn't stand up like it should. The stand or legs for that LCD panel needs a level surface otherwise the panel winds up falling over and completely negates the value that I should have gotten from this extender.I will say that assembly was pretty simple and easy. A couple of bolts to hold the legs or arms that this extender uses to connect to the original surface get installed and then you basically connect this extender to the original table and tighten down the connection. This is versatile in that you can easily fold this extender up or down to have it out of the way when not needed. Material is the same type of material that the original table was made of (for the extender's table surface) and is great for the job.Comfort isn't an issue for me in that this mostly sits out of the way and holds some additional items for me -- things such as my TV remote control, or my gaming controller, my headphones and that sort of thing. On the durability front I think this extender is fine, almost too fine -- if it would bend more easily I might be able to address my leveling issues by simply applying a little physical persuasion to this extender to get it back to level. If I could have done that, I might have had to raise the durability concern a bit but would have been happier -- I think -- with my final results.For me this hits at the 3.5 star level.

I can work off a second laptop on it.For the money, I didn't expect too much but I have to say, I'm impressed by the quality.
