Order a size up. I'm normally a large, but this was a little too tight. The XL wasn't significantly larger, but fit much better. If you're on Prime & it still states 'free returns' I'd suggest ordering your normal size and the next size up and then returning whichever doesn't fit.The material is thin, but high quality and surprisingly warm. It offers good protection from the cold, wind and light rain, but I'd avoid heavy showers.It's regular fit, buts isn't baggy and short so it looks great on its own but also fits easily under another coat without adding bulk.Has 2 zipped outside pockets and 2 inside pockets (behind the outside pockets) which aren't zipped so contents can fall out. The inside pockets are large enough to keep an S6 / iPhone 6+ / Nexus 6p etc.Overall a great quality jacket especially at the price paid.Ordered January 2016, size L and XL, colour black and each priced ~£33.

Seems like a very nice jacket that is well made I have not used it yet, thought I would write this sooner than later to make the size problem clearer to people. This jacket is about one size out on uk sizes I would normally order a large I ordered a X-large and it is a nice fit, it also came in 5 days on free delivery not 10 so all is good.

As others have said, it's better to get a size up in this rather "snug" fit jacket. I followed the advice and the jacket I got fits quite well.I purchased my jacket 7 months ago, and it has been mostly great, the only unfortunate thing being that when it rains and I'm wearing this jacket, my shoulders and centre torso usually get quite damp from the rain. But being a softshell jacket, it's not supposed to be fully water proof - although it is advertised as "Stormproof" a word that Wolfskin seems to have coined.I would recommend this jacket for someone who likes a snug jacket, likes to try stay cool (temperature wise) while wearing a jacket (I usually feel much too overheated to wear thick jackets) and is not looking for something really rainproof.I enjoy the jacket overall, but I do feel that I may have to get another jacket to have around for when it's really raining.

Good quality and warmth just a smallish fitting. Medium fits just a fitted fitting I would have considered ordering the large if knowing this

After reading the reviews I ordered a XL (usually a large) and the fit was perfect, I am 5'11" and 83KG. Lovely jacket and will definitely consider buying another one in a different colour.

Ich habe die Jack Wolfskin Herren Softshelljacke Glacier Valley II in Größe L gekauft, obwohl ich häufig auch Größe M tragen kann (1,83, ~ 80kg).Mir passt Größe L perfekt. Die Jacke ist hinten etwas länger als vorne und schließt in der bestellten Größe vorne knapp unterhalb des Gürtels ab. Erwähnenswert finde ich, dass die Jacke in der Halspartie recht eng geschnitten ist. Wer damit Probleme hat, der sollte aus meiner Sicht eher zu einer anderen Jacke greifen. Ich kann die Jacke sowohl mit T-Shirt, als auch mit einem Pullover darunter tragen.Ansonsten ist die Jacke. gerade für Frühling und Herbst, perfekt. Absolut winddicht, leicht gefüttert. Die Jacke ist leicht wasserabweisend, aber nicht wasserfest. Also einen leichten Schauer kann man in der Jacke gut überstehen, für ein längeres Spazierengehen im Dauerregen ist die Jacke nicht geeignet.
