Top notch reprint
I was an 'Eagle' reader - and member of the Club - up until I went away to sea in 1964, and have all the Hawk Book reprints - it's amazing how much of the various strips I remember after all this time. I have only vague recollections of the two stories in this volume, so it was interesting to see them. The quality is excellent, and the pictures clear and bright.

It's nice to have these again
It's nice to have these again, but sadly they are not a patch on the original. Both artwork and storyline are a poor reflection on Hampson's genius.

Glad your back!
Not quite as well put together as the previous releases, the cover is hardback but with no dust cover, but after this many years I am so glad Titan Books are continuing the series that I can let that go. The content is there however with the 'Mission of the Earthmen' and 'The Solid Space Mystery' contained in this release.

Not the best of the Colonel
Wrongly credited to Hampson as he left the strip after Terra Nova. The concept by now had become just another Space Opera of a bygone age when white man commeth, solves planetary problems and natives are adoringly thankful

Go Spacefleet!
Not Frank Hampson, but, the style is still there.

Vibrant Colour
Another two very good complete stories (front page and second page compilations) and very good print & reproduction. (Better thanh some previous publications).
