Amazing
Feels and sounds great, reduces glare, installation is a little tricky

Hard to install
This screen protector has a great texture - more subtle than the original paperlike. it makes writing much easier and has the effect of reducing glare on your screen. I would recommend, however, it’s an absolute dog to install. I’m used to installing glass screen protectors without bubbles but this one, being a thin, less rigid plastic film is hard to get bubble free. Screen bubbles will irritate me so it won’t be long before this comes off and I try again with the second one. It’s quite expensive if it doesn’t work the second time.

Used this brand since 2018 and it's perfect for me
Been a customer for a good few years now and I can't recommend this more. I use my iPad heavily every day so I like to switch my screen protector out every 6 months so one order lasts me a year. You do have to take extra care when installing it but it's very simple and a nice video to follow along to but it's very forgiving when it comes to getting the bubbles out that aren't caused by dust. The first version use to be harsh on the apple pencil nibs and I'd have to replace them a few times a year but the newer version doesn't seem to have that issue.

Disappointing Experience
I've given the PaperLike screen protector multiple chances, but after my third purchase, I feel compelled to share my disappointment.Firstly, applying this screen protector is a nightmare. It's incredibly fiddly, and no matter how carefully I try, I always end up with bubbles that are nearly impossible to remove. It's frustrating and time-consuming, and the end result is never satisfactory.Additionally, I noticed that the Version 2.1 has a more rubbery feel compared to earlier versions. This change completely defeats the purpose of a "paper-like" experience. The tactile feedback is nothing like writing on paper; it's more like dragging a stylus across a piece of rubber. This makes the whole writing and drawing experience quite unpleasant.Overall, I'm very disappointed with the quality and performance of this product, especially given its premium price. I won't be buying this again and would not recommend it to others looking for a genuine paper-like experience on their devices.

Great feel, nice matte look, lasts long
I bought the Paperlike 2.1 screen protector for my iPad Pro 12.9 primarily for the paper-like feel when using the drawing and sculpting apps, rather than for screen protection. It adds a bit of resistance, which makes drawing feel more natural, but there is a slight reduction in screen sharpness. This is expected with matte protectors, though it’s not as noticeable compared to other brands I’ve seen. Personally, I love the matte look. The application process is easy and bubble-free. After nearly a year of use, with the Apple Pencil 2, the protector is still holding up well. Plus, with two sheets included, I likely won’t need to think about buying a new set for a long time.

Overpriced and underwhelming
Like many of the reviewers here, the first of my two screen protectors was lost to a failed installation, despite meticulously following the instructions. For the price of these protectors, that's a substantial sum of money straight in the bin. There's a note in the package stating "we tried all the different screen protector applications so you don't have to", which is complete tosh because I've bought screen protectors for other tablets of the same size, for a third of the price, which come with (wait for it)... a bracket to help you align it and apply without bubbles. This, by comparison, makes you create "hinges" using guide stickers which have far too much adhesive and become incredibly difficult to pull off without taking the protector with it. Also, it's inordinately difficult to hold everything in place *and* smooth it down *and* keep it perfectly aligned. I got there in the end, but there are a few bubbles which I won't be getting out.In terms of the screen feel, "paper" isn't it. It feels like the coating you get on full blown graphics tablets (a la Wacom, Huion, XP-Pen etc.), which is pleasant enough. Next time though I'll be buying a cheaper one which doesn't make me tear my hair out.

Good when it's on, but a pain to apply
This is a great product for the iPad and does make a big difference to the writing experience using the Apple Pencil. However, other reviews are correct in that it is an absolute nightmare to apply to the screen and getting a completely bubble/dust free finish is, in my experience, close to impossible and frustrating. However, to balance this, it would be an identical circumstance with any other screen protective product, so it is unfair to hold this product to higher account than others. The video instructions are very clear and there is a good toolkit provided with dust magnets, wipes and placement stickers which were very useful.Highly recommended product, just be prepared for some frustration and a few little air/dust bubbles to be near impossible to remove.
