A little disappointed with this kit as, on social media, I've only ever heard great things about Tamiya kits However, it's an older kit (1977 I believe) so I'll cut it some slack!

Great item was not dissatisfied at all, would recommend.

This is my first Tamiya model and my first 1/48 size too. I would advise modellers to carefully read the instructions too as I initially found then a little confusing but after carefully reading them and taking my time, the end result is very pleasing.

Brrrrt! Great kit although the panle lines are really bad for a Tamiya kit had to over scribe them to get the definition when washing it after painting lots of tiny details to lose yourself in and obsess over at 1/48 scale it's a great size if you have the room

Real nice kit to build with real good details. In fact it was that good that I bought another one to do a different colour scheme.

とても懐かしいキットです。 完成時の迫力は最高ですし値段も安いので手頃です。 今のようにCAD設計で掘られた金型ではないので凸モールド全開でパーツの接着も一手間必要ですがこの年代のキットはパーツが全く合わないものや隙間があくようなキットが多い中、このキットの合いは最高水準です。当たり前ですがすり合わせをして接着すればパテを使用するところはほんの少しくらいでした。 毎回古いキットのレビューで見るのですがガッカリとか期待はずれという方が多いのですが最新のキットしか作ったことのない人なのでしょうか？タミヤの長い歴史の中で販売されてきたキットが昔から今の水準な訳ないですよ。このキットが苦手であれば1／72ですがホビーボスのお手軽キットをお勧めします。 凸モールドの処理ができない初心者、ガンプラしか作ったことがない人には敬遠されても仕方ないかと。凸が嫌なら掘れば良いし、凸が消えたら凸を作れば良いだけです。せっかく買ったキットなのですから頑張って作りましょう。また色々と勉強になるので投げ出さずに少しでも手をつけてみてください。

I’m saving this model to build in my retirement years, which is still 5+ years off, if not more. I can’t wait to start building models again, it was one of my favorite activities in my childhood years...

Awesome detail. Kit goes together flawlessly. I really enjoy putting Tamiya kits together because it’s fun. When so much detail is provided the kit becomes a job not a hobby. Tamiya does the best job in finding the correct balance between detail and fun.
