Very pretty candle, but burning it was difficult. It arrived on 1 December. When the kids got home from school, I lit it. We only had it on long enough to burn down through the tapered end. On 2 December I lit it again after school. It burnt for less than one minute. The wick burnt up immediately instead of feeding off the wax. I had to faff around with it, trying to use matches and another candle to melt enough wax to get some wick exposed. I eventually had to give up, as we had an invitation to dinner. On 3 December I used a sharp knife to dig out wax around the wick to expose it enough to try to light it. This took several attempts, but finally I've been successful. I had the candle lit for a good while at breakfast, and it now seems to be working properly. I have never had so much trouble for a candle, much less one that costs as much as this. I am seriously tempted to give it just two stars, but I think I'll settle for three. I sent one to my sister-in-law and her family. I really hope they have had better luck than us!!

Ich schreibe sehr selten Produktbewertungen, aber diesmal kann ich nicht anders. Diese Kerze brennt total schnell ab. Man kann gerade mal eine Tasse Kaffee trinken, da ist "der Tag schon abgebrannt". Für diesen Preis hätte ich da eine deutlich bessere Qualität erwartet. Sehr enttäuschend!

Nous avions toujours une bougie de l'avent en Ecosse, c'est une bonne façon de fêter la saison. Jusqu'à maintenant j'ai du commander du Royaume Uni, mais cette année les voilà sur Amazon France. Géniale! Bien sûr je ne peux rien dire à présent concernant la qualité mais elle est arrivée en bon état et c'est juste ce que j'attendais. Je l'ai mis dans un bougeoir Ikea, pareil à celui dans la photo, et il fallait une petite bande de papier autour de la bougie pour la faire solide.

Die Lieferung hat trotz Primemitglied 6 Tage gedauert . Die Kerze kam beschädigt an,was mich nicht wundert , die Kerze wurde einfach ohne schutzmaterial verschickt und ist in der Mitte gebrochen . Optisch sieht sie schön aus, schade das ich sie nun nicht in gebrauch nehmen kann .
