would not recommend
Not happy with the exercises. I've done my fair share of yoga, pilates and body balance. I am very flexible and consider myself relatively sporty.Just as well I have some experience, as the positions are not well explained and things that many first timers do wrong are not mentioned. So in my eyes a no go for someone who is not familiar with the techniques! Many of the exercises don't seem pregnancy friendly. Quite a few are head down and aggravate even the slightest reflux (most pregnant women suffer from this). There are also not many exercises on there. Disappointed and in my eyes waste of money.

For the experienced yoga people...
I liked it, and it was great yoga, I just found it way too hard as a pregnant lady! If you want to do this one, you'll have to be pretty experienced with yoga to start with.

Worthwhile
Bit repititive but maybe this is okay. If you do the full programme, then all the others are snippets of the first. I got carpel tunnel from doing it. Was prone to it anyway. Alot of work on your hands in Yoga. Would be good to have alternative poses for this. Otherwise very good. Breathing is so important in birth so this is beneficial.

Has to be the best one out there..
Of the four DVD's I have, this is the best one and I keep coming back to it every alternative days. I have been using it for 3 months now and I am most happy with the buy. Its completely suitable for beginners and you can literally feel the sense of peace afterwards. I love both full cycle(70 minutes) and half cycle(40 minutes. Tara lee projects a sense of confidence in her moves and you know you can trust her. She also has a soothing voice and the music never bothers.. and it plays well. Tara also advises on the postures that can be done during labour, although haven't tried, I know they will work. The guidance is gentle and she provides alternatives when it gets a little strenuous but most of the yoga poses are beginner level and can be easily done. A very happy five star from a very happy mom-to be.

Great purchase - pleased with it :)
I was trying to find a pregnancy yoga DVD that appealed to the more advanced yoga practitioner as I've been doing fitness/power yoga regularly for a year or two. I didn't want a DVD with too much breathing, ohmming or visualisaion, but not too strenuous that I'd struggle with my 35 week baby belly. This one was recommended by a friend.Tara is a good instructor with good rhythm and pace. Music is a bit too plinky-plonky for my taste but not invasive and doesn't put me off. Graphics are a bit cheesy with ohm logos and parchment effect backdrop. There is an option for Full Practice which takes your through a full workout (70mins) including relaxation at the end, but these sections can be accessed individually with the menu option. Plus there are additional options for Partner Work, Pregnancy Ailments and Visualisation which aren't part of the Full Practice. There's also an option to do the Full Practice without instructions from Tara and just use the music and visual prompts.Full Practice part of the DVD starts with breathing, a bit of vocalising ohm noises (not my bag but interesting) and basic stretches, then moves on to the kind of yoga I'm more familar with. The yoga is good - in my opinion - the usual poses, downward dog, a sun salutation (variation), triangle, warrior one, cat, tree and pigeon (favourite), plus the more difficult eagle and variations of cobra too. Good examples of positions and movements to use during labour too which i hope will be beneficial. Plus pelvic floor exercises. Tara often gives alternatives for easier or more difficult options and footnotes on screen gives warnings for ladies with groin problems or SPD etc.Overall, a good workout and I feel that it is a good substitute for my regular classes.

Must have pregnancy DVD
I have to admit that I was sceptical at first, but two babies later, I'm a believer! This is a great DVD for pregnancy exercises that you can do in the comfort of your own home at whatever time that suits you.You can pick and choose what exercises you want to. For example, if your lower back hurts, you can choose to only do those stretches. Sometimes, I would escape with my personal DVD player and do the relaxation chapter in my room.My water actually broke doing this chapter with my first baby because I was so relaxed!I would recommend to this all pregnant women!

Can not praise this DVD enough
I'm fairly new to yoga and found the pace on some of the movement poses a little fast at first. The instructions were very good and clear so I believe that this was down to my lack of flexibility. However, like anything, the more you practice the easier it becomes, so I would recommend for beginners and yoga fanatics alike. There are different sections to the DVD so you can pick and choose whether you want to do the full practice, relaxation part/breathing exercises or poses, you have the option to skip straight to these parts. A useful section is the pregnancy ailments, which are listed individually and you are given different positions for specific problem areas.Tara Lee is the perfect instructor, talking just enough unlike some instructors that can get repetitive and annoying the more you listen to them!! She also explaines how each exercise is benefiting you and your baby.I was suffering with lower back pain and the first time I did this DVD, it completely released all tension in my back. The results are instant and it is a very relaxing DVD and time for you to take to energise yourself, shut out any stresses or tensions of the day and connect with your baby.I don't agree with other reviews that this DVD is solely for relaxing rather than toning, because I noticed a difference in my flexibility and overall strength and tone in my arms/legs after 2 weeks of using this.Overall, I don't know what I would do without this DVD, I have recommended to all my pregnant friends and will continue to do so in the future.
