WhitePython LED Lights 2ft | Reptile LED Kit | Daylight White | 60cm

I purchased the WhitePython LED Light Kit, 60cm, Daylight for my royal python's vivarium.The delivery was quick and the product was as described. The installation was quick and easy, but sadly the sticky magnetic strips did not hold to the roof of the viv. I came home the next day to find that the heat of the viv caused the stickiness to fail and the light strip was on the floor of the tank, with the sticky strip still attached (which is actually quite dangerous for reptiles, but luckily he had not gone to the fallen light to investigate).I was able to quickly and easily solve the defect however by putting a couple of nails through the strips into the roof of the viv - the result is a sturdy LED strip light which not only improves the appearance of the habitat but also helps to regulate the day/night cycle for my snake.I plugged the LED into a timer switch along with the thermostat, so the daytime temperature is regulated whilst the light is on.I can recommend this for your vivarium if you would like to improve the appearance and regulate day/night cycles, without requiring a specific light spectrum for your reptile (like a royal python), but I would also recommend securing the light to the viv using an alternative method than described by the manufacturer.

Arrived yesterday and have fit today. Had a play with using the 2 pieces to make the dull 60cm strip and just the 1 and decided to use just the 1even in such a large Viv. It's housing a Royal (ball)Python and she doesn't like to be to exposed so I think the one strip is sufficient light for her, came with brackets included which I didn't realise and ordered separately but having extra and the spare strip I hope to be able to buy another end cover piece and power supply for another Viv!

The light looks good in the viv but kept falling off. The heat from the viv seemed to melt the adhesive so I bought clips for it. Problem solved.

Very good in my 3ft viv

We have snakes and the beauty of this is that you can convert a 60 to 30 if you think its too bright.Simple to install and make the vivarium look great.

The light it's self was great and really easy to install but after about 3 weeks of it being in the tank it fell down. Which I was absolutely gutted about. As it could have fallen and hurt my little Leo. I have the blue light exactly the same and have had no issues with it at all.
