Titan Automatic Chicken Coop Door Opener with Timer + Metal Chicken Coop Door – ELITE

After reading various reviews on door openers (some good, some bad) I was unsure if I should spend this much on one. As we have just bought a camper and will be spending the odd nights away I thought I would give it a try. Delivery was fast and the door supplied was good quality. My husband fitted the door and we set the timer for 30 mins before they are normally let out and 30 mins after bedtime. Works a treat. My hens did look at the door for a few minutes before going through but they are perfectly happy with it now and we are delighted not to have to remember to shut them in at night!

A time saver!! This is a must for any chicken owner. I bought this for our school chickens and it works a perfectly. It took me about 20 minutes to install and set up which was surprisingly easy! You can select exact times for the door to open/close, choose if it is at first light/dusk or a combination of both. For example mine closes at 10pm and opens on first light. This has survived some extreme rain showers and still works.

The product performs well and is based on simple operating principles. The operating instructions are in pigeon English and are very brief. Although there is a spare string included the thickness of this component does make you feel nervous when the door could operate as a guillotine if it breaks

We bought this when we went on holiday for two weeks to ensure Mr Fox didnt eat the chickens. The door has been fantastic - easy to install and operate. As the nights are drawing in it is easy to change the timer to allow for this. great buy

This is a perfect product for those individuals who are not such early risers as their chickens, and once fitted it is perfect. I built a hen house around the sliding door, and attached the power box afterwards. Once you have set the timer, the door will open each morning at what ever time is good for you. We still have to put the hens to bed at night, as despite setting the door for a 10 pm close, the hens still insist on roosting in their tree, but I just pop them back in through the egg box. My only complaint, and it's only a small one, is that the fitting/setting instructions could be a bit more comprehensive, but other than that, a good product, delivered on time/well packaged etc.

Purchased to replace older door opener. The string broke on the first night leaving three birds trapped outside the Coop. They then got killed by a fox. The instructions to replace the string were followed but in upon opening the cover two wires snapped as they were glued to the housing . Total rubbish, cheap and nasty, would not recommend ,

This product was an absolute dream for the first few months. After about 5 months, even when inserting brand new expensive AA batteries, the batteries only last for maximum 3 days then run out. Why is this? Am i supposed to insert batteries everyday and update the times so it will work? What's the point in that? Maybe i have a dodgy device in which case I would like a replacement because like i said, it was a dream when it actually worked.

I bought this in Nov of last year so my chickens could be let out and closed up if my husband was not able to do so while I was away seeing sick family members. Fast forward 3-4 months later I'm sick and should not be going outside but I noticed a largish animal in my back garden and don't see my chickens go out with my dog and scare it off and low and behold the chickens are fine but the string has snapped with in the last 24 hrs and they have been stuck in their coop since at lest last night I checked the string fairly regularly and saw no signs of fraying before this happened. I'm not to impressed if ill have to replace string in it every 3-4 months. Thought it would have lasted long at the price.

Ottima porta per pollaio, robusta, esteticamente bella e funzionante. Si impostano l'ora in corso, l'ora di chiusura e l'ora di apertura. E' abbastanza facile montarla, prestate solo attenzione che il cavo sia perpendicolare e che la porta scorra bene. Una volta messa in funzione non e' piu' necessario alzarsi presto per aprire alle galline!!

Parece material de muy buena calidad y resistencia a la intemperie, tanto la puerta como la caja con el temporizador, muy fácil de instalar y programar, el único pero es que venía con pilas y parece que estaban caducadas al apagarse el reloj al día siguiente solucionado con unas nuevas.

Nous avons adapté la porte à une porte existante qui a gonflé lors de la première pluie. Ce qui a mis de la pression sur le mécanisme. Une fois séché j’ai repeint la porte et tout est rentré dans l’ordre. Le mécanisme est solide et bien conçu. Pas trop difficile à installer et simple àprogrammer . Super produit qui nous a permis de partir en vacances sans être préoccupés par le va et vient de nos petites poules. Excellent !

Ich war vor dem Kauf etwas verunsichert von den vielen negativen Kundenbewertungen hier, habe mich aber dennoch dafür entschieden, da ich an meinem Arbeitsplatz die gleiche Hühnertür ein Jahr lang in Aktion gesehen habe, und es nie irgendwelche Probleme gab. Ich habe sie jetzt seit drei Monaten und sie tut genau, was sie soll. Die Bedienung ist sehr einfach und wenn es mal vorkommt, dass sich der Zugfaden der Tür verklemmt (einmal vorgekommen bisher), lässt sich dies mit wenig Kenntnissen und minimalem Aufwand beheben. Die Materialqualität ist für den Preis in der Tat nicht die beste. Andererseits ist diese Hühnertür im Vergleich mit anderen Produkten dieser Art eher günstig. Die Batterien in dem Gerät an meinem Arbeitsplatz halten nun seit etwas über einem Jahr und ich musste logischerweise auch bei mir noch nicht die Batterien wechseln.
