Fall in love with your car again!
After a quick and efficient delivery I put the Collinite Wax to work. First I prepped the car with a pre-wax cleaner (using Collinite 840) to ensure a totally clean surface ready for the wax. I then applied Collinite wax to the body and wheels of the car - wheels had just been refurbished by The Wheel Specialist so look better than new and I wanted to ensure a good layer of protection for them. Firstly the wheels - they came up a treat and look amazing. They now have a deep shine and are smooth to the touch, cleaning them will be as simple as wiping with a wet cloth to remove surface dirt and brake dust. The wax finish will ensure none of the brake dust attaches to the wheel and spoils the beautiful paint finish. Then I applied the wax to the car. Its a big car so this was not the work of a moment but it didn't take as long as I thought it would. The wax is so easy to apply and shine that I was able to do this first thing in the morning the day after applying the pre-wax cleaner, as the weather didn't allow me to complete the job in one afternoon. I had the waxing done in no time and the car now looks great, better than ever. There is a deep finish to the paint that makes it shine in all types of light. Went out for dinner with friends and on the way back to the car under street lighting people thought I had a brand new car and when I saw how good it looked with that deep finish and shine it definitely made me feel good about my recent purchase and also has given me a new found fondness for a car that I really like already but now also looks the way I want it to. As I'll be keeping this car for a another year or two before I change it I'm pleased that I can maintain its looks and even improve them in this way.

One of the very best liquid waxes on the market.
I love this wax for ease of use, the quality and finished product. It doesn't take long for me to go over the whole of my car as it goes on very thin to achieve excellent results. Watched plenty of YouTube videos on this 845 and was impressed enough to try this as my main liquid wax. It will last a long time as you don't need to use much per panel as applying too much just means you are wasting it and making it harder for yourself to buff off.As an update, after layering this wax I have seen a massive improvement in the depth of shine on the paintwork and the clarity is fantastic as you can see from the photos. This is a dream to work with as it glides across the paintwork with ease as you only need a thin layer on each panel to achieve excellent results. It's also very easy to buff off as long as you stick to the system of thin layers! I've used this on everything all over the car with it all ending up shining like new, well, very close! I won't change from this wax now as it is absolutely superb.

Simply awesome! Never thought wax could be an exciting subject until now
Fantastic product. It's incredible that it has been going for so long and it wasn't until recently that I found out about it. It made my silver SUV shine as it was covered in glass. Superb finish, super easy to apply by hand and buff off, in this case I use Ryobi's orbital wireless buffer, another fantastic buy. I first polished the car with Autoglym Super Resin polish then applied Collinite. I left the bottle submerged in warm water whilst I did the polishing. The wax comes out easily and it was like applying a coat of oily wax on the car. It can go on any exterior surface. Leave to dry for a few minutes and buff it off. The depth of shine is unparalleled. I'm definitely sticking to it from now on and hope this will give enough protection for 3-4 months until it needs a second coat and I think I can then keep the polishing to once or twice a year maximum. Consider buying the Dustbuster Wheel Wax and sealant, it's another great product.

Collinite 845 wax. Good product
I have just run out of this, 18 months after purchase. It is very good, easy to apply and buff off and gives a good shine. I'm not sure the effect lasts as long as it should but as you don't use much each time, I guess it's cost effective as you can get many waxes out of one bottle.I have just bought some Autosmart Carnauba Gold wax instead (third of the price) which is good. Harder to apply and get off but leaves a great shine.I will probably buy more Collinite 845 because it is so easy to use. It all depends on how long the new stuff stays on for and continues to 'bead' as I'm not concerned that it's harder to use. If I don't have a lot of time, I'll use Collinite. If I do, I'll use the Autosmart Carnauba Gold. Simple. Some reviewers say they will never use anything else again, but I think it's good to try different products as modern waxes are fabulous and getting better all the time, and different products have different qualities and uses.

Superb Product
I should start by pointing out that the instructions make no mention of this, but it's essential - you really must leave the bottle half submerged in warm water for five minutes, until it liquefies and then give it a really good shake and you're good to go!A little really does go a long way when it comes to this product, if you apply it too thickly you won't have a fun time when it comes to buffing it off. It's not the easiest product to work with, and you need to give it a good few minutes to dry before you buff it off; but the extra effort is rewarded with a truly fantastic deep glossy shine. The finish really is outstanding and it's comparable (at the very least!) to waxes with prices far, far north of this.In my experience, Collinite waxes have amazing durability; and this lives up to that reputation and more. Even months after applying, it still beads water very aggressively and provides excellent protection for the paint. In short, not the easiest product to work with (but to be honest if you're careful it's not that difficult) - but the results you can achieve are brilliant and well worth the extra bit of effort. Well worth the money.
