Excellent replacement for my original Dyson wand that broke. It’s fully compatible with Dyson my V8 model and fits perfectly. The quick-release function works smoothly, and feels solid. Very happy with this purchase, works just like the original!

I bought this wand to replace my original Dyson wand. From the start it did not fit properly as it remained slightly loose. After a couple of weeks, the vaccum cleaner began to stop operating abruptly for a few seconds before resuming again after a bit of wiggling of the connection point between the wand and the main body. The problem worsened with time and I gave up on the wand eventually.

My original wand just cracked and I didn't want to deal with the nightmare that Dyson has become over the last few years. I ordered this as it was the cheapest and it does the trick and came the next day.

Lasted a few months before the motor head kept cutting in and out when using it. Want eventually cracked at the join at 18months.
