Bestway Flowclear 530gal Filter Pump Swimming Pool

Having read a fair few reviews on here, it seems to me, some people have no idea how to look after their pool. Reviews saying it' s not powerful enough, or its noisy - rubbish. Its quoted on the website and product details it filters at X gallons/litres per hour. People should check the volume of water their pools hold. Things like hair, blades of grass, insects. They are not meant to all filtered, some of it will however. You need a skimmer net to remove those things, the filter keeps the chemicals flowing thus keeping the pool clean. A pool vacuum is needed to remove debris from the pool floor. The filter does not do this. It is silent in operation. Could do with a longer mains cable, for my situation anyway, as it is not meant to be used with an extension cord. So beware when buying, check the length of it compared to where your pool in in relation to your mains socket. Next year we are going to place the pool elsewhere to make it easier for the filter and hopefully the heater too. The instructions are somewhat, rubbish. Just remember when connecting the pipes, the highest outlet from the pool connects to the lowest inlet on the filter and the lowest pool outlet to the highest inlet on the filter. The plastic things that attach around the pipes may not last, but other than that. Seems a good filter unit. Next on the list is a heater. EDIT: After using it a few times it has kept the pool crystal clear. Only had it on for a few hours at a time. One tip. After using it for the first time, unscrew the top to get the filter out. You will notice the bottom half of the filter is dirty. I gave it a jet with the hose and put it back in the other way (the cleaner end in first). The second time I used it I took it out and it was dirty again on the bottom half. Hosed it down and swapped it around again. You can find you will get double life out of them doing it this way.

The hoses for this don't match with the intex pool particularly well although they are universal fitting , there's a pipe to pipe size difference, the partical filter that goes into the pool to stop big leaves going in also don't fit that well but do sort of hang in place subsurface, the thumb nut plastic pipe holders , basically plastic jubilee clips are made out of worthers originals. *Useless* I used cable ties. (I love cable ties) the rest is good news it pumped well and cleared the water of fine particals the scoop net doesn't get. On inspection of the filter lots of very fine detritus. The air bleed on the lid worked well. Does work. Pool was crystal clear in 2 hours.

It’s probably great for your bathtub anything bigger and it’s just not upto to do the job. We have a put up pool 4x3 meters and you can see it sucks water from about a meter and only very small and light bits like but of leaves or small insects so it basically rotates the water from 25% of the pool volume. I don’t know if that’s good or ok but we upgraded to a bigger and stronger pump, both of which were designed for the size of the pool I have by the way, and the new one does the jobs just great. Not slating it just saying, depends on the size of your pool, don’t expect a perfectly or half decent clean pool, that’s all.

Fitted this really easily although the cheap plastic jubilee clips were a fraction too big I was able to wrap a bit of folder paper round the pipe to provide the right thickness to seal it. Pumps well to start with but doesn't take long before the pressure goes and the filter clogs. Filter very fibrous and difficult to clean without the material fuzzing away. I think the filters are the problem here though not the pump so if you know a way of using a better filter then this is a good buy rather than a goodbye albeit a little pricy.

Firstly this arrived 4 days early, so kudos points to the seller. Previously to this I had a cheap knock off water filter pump, which I purchased from an eBay seller. That did a poor job in pumping water. This on the other hand is doing a great job. Its pumping water with a strong flow. Easy to setup too. Was hoping it would come with the metal clamps for the pipes, but unfortunately they are plastic.. Still seem sturdy. You can hear the pump, but its not noisy and once the kids are in the garden it really wont be audible. Price wise, this cost more than my pool, but these things are like hot cakes at the moment and I did not something decent. Should last a good few years.

Easy to install into our 8ft round pool. Connections on the pump are very good but the connections on the pool side are rubbish, those plastic clamps do nothing. The fittings within the pool that poke through were loose and could just be pulled out - I have seen other reviews moaning about this too. Metal clamp selection box stashed in the shed to the rescue. After swapping the two out on the pool side, works perfect with no leaks and the boy now can’t pull the internal plastic fittings out while in the pool. Pump is very strong and fairly quiet. Looks to be very solid indeed. Come on though, throw in some proper clamp fittings!

Pumpe wurde zum Reinigen eines kleinen Pools 2,00m x 3,00m gekauft und macht ihre Arbeit tadellos. Sie ist selbstansaugend, das mitgelieferte Anschlußmaterial ist ausreichend. Geringe Betriebsgeräusche, der Filtereinsatz kann schnell ausgebaut und nach der Reinigung mit dem Wasserstrahl einige Male wiederverwendet werden. Das ist kostengünstig. Anmerkung: Man steckt im Ansaugschlauch einen x-beliebigen Schlauch hinein und kann dann auch noch per Handbetrieb den Boden von Sand etc, reinigen. Für kleine Pools echt praktisch. Zur Standfestigkeit: Die Pumpe läuft bei uns nun seit einigen Wochen 3x täglich jeweils 1,5Std.per Zeitschaltuhr. Trafo,Pumpe alles ok. Ich kann den Kauf dieser Pumpe nur empfehlen.

Muy buen producto funciona y limpia muy bien

Bütün yaz 2,5 tonluk şişme havuzu uygun kimyasal desteği ile idare etti. Eski pompa ile yılda 4-5 sefer doldur boşalt yapıyordum. Bu sene haziranda doldurdum eylülde boşalttım. Tavsiye ediyorum.

The filter pump I received is broken, making weird noise and doesn’t work at all. Have to send the item back. Quite disappointing.
