Will these staples fit stanley 0-tr151y gun please ?

I do t know.mines a TRA700. Should say on the gun what type&sizes it will take.

are the staples pointed or flat tipped

They are flat tipped with an edge on both sides. These easily penetrate thick wood. I have used them for fixing DPC to the top of heavy wooden frame prior to laying composite decking. Shouldn't have a problem with them penetrating most materials but not any metals. Will penetrate plastics as well depending on the thickness of the plastic.

Are these rust resistant?

no. they are mild steel, and do rust if used outside or in a damp environment

Are the staples stainless steel?

I doubt that they are, I believe the stainless steel ones are 1-TRA708SST.
