Good nesting dolls if you want to paint them. My 2 year old niece loved the finished product! The wood is quite sturdy and took the paint well. The dolls stack well into one another. But there's two things to know before you buy:- You will have to sand them! As others pointed out, they are quite stiff to open at the beginning, but just a bit of sand paper and elbow grease did the trick just fine.- There's quite a big difference between the larger doll and the other ones which was a bit disappointing, but again my niece didn't seem to mind :)

We're a little tight to take apart and put together but a bit of sandpaper soon sorted that

They are an uneven fit between the halves, and one has a knot, leaving an uneven surface and a dent that will be obvious even after painting. The knot is near the top of a bottom half, and leaves a visible step where the halves join. They're also very rough in places, like they were partially finished, or broken from the lathe poorly.They feel like slight seconds, but it could just be a lack of quality control, and i got landed with a messy set. If you're willing to fill holes and sand, possibly a lot, they are OK.

I found these dolls well finished good quality, good fit and excellent value for money.

As soon as I opened it up, it split down the side and the crack got bigger until it was like the picture attached. It's too stiff to be glued back together so I will have to discard the outer layer and just use the smaller ones.It needs sanding too as all the layers are so stiff and difficult to open. The wood squeaks horribly.It's a great idea as it's blank and ready to be painted or personalised, but I'm disappointed it's broken.

The item arrived when it was supposed to and my daughter was delighted with them. One or two were difficult to open and reclose but that was just part of the fun and the DIY aspect of the project. She loved painting them and we got to get some learning in about the origins of these type of dolls. I would recommend but be mindful of the roughness when opening and closing some of the dolls, as others said though, a small rubbing of wax will do the trick.

These are awesome. You can paint and decorate each one of them. The only thing I would say is that they could be a little thicker hence a little stronger if you want kids under 5 to handle them. Our 8 year old granddaughter loves them and is having a great time decorating them.

My daughter loved it. Drawing and painting the dolls went well. The opening and closing was a bit stiff, but the seller already indicated that and gave tips on how to resolve that. I applied their advice and it was low effort with the desired result. I would buy this item again.

La qualità è molto buona, può essere colorato con delle semplici tempere. Sono un po’ dure da aprire/chiudere ma dopo un po’ si lasciano andare. Molto consigliato
