Fantastic item
My 13 month old dog has taken to barking recently especially when she wants her ball thrown or my granddaughter is here and she’s in the kitchen with the stair gate closed (she’s still pretty excitable and my granddaughter is just 3), we tried other gadgets including a high pitched hand held one which she took absolutely no notice of, but this collar has worked wonders, took a little fiddling with how tight to have it for it to be effective but within about 10 mins was sorted and fully working, activates when she barks a second time but omitting a beep, another bark and it’s a longer beep, the next one sets it so give the longer beep then a vibration for a few seconds, no harm to my dog at all but it really does make her stop barking constantly. I only really need to use it when my granddaughter is here or if we are out in the garden and she decides she’s not the centre of attention. It’s not recommended to be on for more than 6 hours, or for the dog to be left alone wearing it, longest my pup has had it on at once is approximately 2-2.5 hours. I can highly recommend this if you have a dog that likes to yap

Possibly faulty product?
Could the seller please contact me if this sounds like a faulty product, as I'd really like for this to work the way it should. Size and fit for my 4kg mini dachshund was great. Unfortunately I think this product is faulty. The vibration will be set off a long time after my dog stops barking, so I don't think she understands why it is happening. For example, she barks and it beeps correctly. Then she barks another couple times, more beeps. Then she could stop barking for a good 5 seconds and it will vibrate. I expected it to vibrate whilst she is barking, not after. I am not able to correct the behaviour when it isn't vibrating at the right time.

Anti-Bark Collar
I ordered two small and two medium sized collars. All arrived the following day, packaged well. The two medium sized collar boxes contained spare prong covers and a spanner to fix the prongs covers. The small sized collar boxes did not contain any spare prong covers nor any spanners (one set was for a friend's 2 dogs). I did try out the medium collar on our Staffordshire bull terrier, the alarm sets off, but he kept barking with the occasional looking round to see where the noise is coming from. Our Pomeranian barks a few times then when the alarm sets off and vibrates she stops. It may be too early to give a proper review as I have only used them a couple of times. So far, I am not too sure if this product is going to help. Perhaps I will review again in 2/3 weeks time once we have tried them out a bit more frequently.

All-in-all good device
The collar arrived very promptly and the package contained the device itself (I got medium size), three plastic front-plates with different colors, two batteries (this is really good because those are not the ordinary batteries, like AA or AAA), set of two plastic tips with the key to change them and of course small booklet with the manual. The device is fairly easy to set up (just follow the instructions) and it works right out-of-the-box. The device itself is very light and the length of collar is rather long (I actually had to cut it shorter, so it does not get too "crowded" next to the buckle). I am rather happy with it but there are just couple minor things I can mention: - the batteries are not of common size and I do not know if it is easy to get new ones but I suppose it should be possible (I also do not know for how long they will last). - for me it is not so obvious which sensitivity level to select and it is not really clear to me if they are actually changing as I intend to because it just beeps when I push "+" or "-" but there is no indication which level is currently selected (I guess that in order to get the "reference point" one should remove the battery and then the device will go to default level "4" out of "7"). - this comment is also related to the sensitivity level - the device went off couple times when another dog near by (very close, maybe 20-30 cm away from the device) was barking (I am often walking with two dogs). I assume that it can be fixed by playing around with the settings but this happened when collar was on default level and I think that if I go down with sensitivity it may not work properly. - I am not sure if device is 100% water tight (especially battery compartment) and what is going to happen if there is heavy rain. As for now the collar works well and I am satisfied with this purchase, I hope it will last for long time. I definitely recommend this device.

A Miracle
This was recommended to me by a friend and I was very sceptical- however for my 2 labs that had different barking issues, I can honestly say it has been a miracle! One barked ridiculously when getting ready for a walk and early in the morning (very early!) And the other just stood in the middle of the garden barking which was very annoying early in the morning and late at night. The very first time I used the collar in both scenarios the barking stopped. They have both been rewarded with lots of praise and I don’t need to put the collar on any more. I discussed the collar and it’s success with my vet and she said it wasn’t at all cruel and if it worked and made my life easier then great! I honestly think my dogs are happier as they seem much calmer than when they were barking incessantly. They still bark when people come to the door but they aren’t wearing the collar and I didn’t buy it to stop this - however the collar does beep if it’s in the same room and so they don’t bark half as much and calm down a lot quicker. It may not work on every dog but I would give it a go - personally it’s the best £15 I have spent in a very long time and me a sad my dogs are so much happier in our quieter world!

Try it, it has made my dog enjoyable again!
I have never felt the need to review a product before however this did inspire me. I have two spaniels a boy and a girl who are both under 18months. The male dog feels he needs to protect the house and his younger female spaniel. A consequence of this is that he runs at full speed towards the front door if the ring doorbell goes and even does it when the advert is on tv and he does whilst barking loudly and aggressively, even though he would never cause any harm. In the park on a walk he will run at families barking in the same manner and if a dog is on on tv the same occurs. I shout at him to stop he continues!! He thinks I am barking with him. I have had this product 5 days now, the quality of the collar is not really good enough however that’s not why I bought it. On day one wearing it , he barked at the tv, the collar beeped he stopped and looked at him like I had told him too. He has got it to level 4 once or has barked 4 times and this was the door bell, it then vibrates and this saw him come straight to me for protection however he wasn’t harmed in any way. He is know a different dog. He ran at a family in the park barked once then turned around and came back, he has adjusted his vocals and now just does a really low growl at the tv. He does not run at the door when the door bell rings and doesn’t bark at all, he just looks and waits to see who it is. It is early days and he may get tolerant to it however I am very impressed with this product. At night I take it off him and he still doesn’t bark. It has calmed him down immensely and he is a much nicer dog. It has worked for my boy so far and I am very impressed.

Dog ignored it, don't get it wet!
We've had two of these, one because dog got it soaked running through a huge puddle before he started to ignore it so we replaced it with the hopes we had found a cure for his barking, a week passes with the new one and he just ignored it. If you have a bloody minded stubborn dog then these won't work. Our pup is a large breed and now 19mths he was a year when we first tried this and we had another go recently and he looked at us like we were complete idiots and barked until it ran out of batteries!

Only use these as a last resort
We own two very reactive dogs. We have tried other training methods and had no luck. One dog is reactive to other dogs and the other has seperation anxiety which makes him react to certain noises. If you want this to work and actually help your dogs, you need to be doing positive reward training on top of this. Do not use these constantly because the dog will get used to it. The collars are completely harmless and I actually tried it on myself before putting it on them. Initially the collar will beep. The beep will get longer with each bark. It will then reach a point where it beeps then vibrates. Each getting longer with every bark. Honestly, the first beep it usually enough. Them you reward them for not barking again or walking away. It has made a huge difference to our dogs. They are more relaxed both outside and inside. They don't react to loud/scary noises as much anymore and I couldn't recommend it more. I wouldn't call this kind of training "lazy" but it is easier than most other methods. The collar does the hard part of catching the behaviour and all you have to do is reward them after the correction. They may run out of battery rather quickly in the beginning but as the training progresses it will take longer and longer.
