I purchased this cable because one of the pictures showed a 4 wire connection. I was willing to re-terminate the cable if need be to make it fit my needs. The cable didn't work out of the package, so I figured it was terminated wrong for the application I was trying to use it with. After cutting the RJ12/11 end off to re-terminate, it only has 3 wires! Don't waste your $$!

Nice cable. But doesn't work on Keyence KV series plc's.

Output voltage is 2.2V, not enough for RS232 compatible serial communication.
