Product from HP may be excellent, but beware non-HP seller!
Bought laptop with Amazon product description claiming it had one-year manufacturer warranty, but it was in fact out of warranty! The product failed with four months with an error citing the hard disk. HP confirmed it had been equipped with a non-standard hard disk and therefore was NOT covered by warranty. Beware seller being anything but the manufacturer.

Great features!
I purchased this computer for my personal use.. I use it everyday.. I love the security protection with the fingerprint control. It allows me to play games, and zoom, and teach my students with slides. it holds its charge for a very long time. The Speaker works great, its allows the sound to go very low, and very high, with stereo sound. I can also mirror to a television to provide my slides on a bigger scale to teach. very happy with my purchase!

SDD failed after 5 mos
Purchased on Dec 25, by May it would no longer boot. Ran diagnostics and found that the hard drive was not recognized. Easy enough to replace with a $90 SDD, but the experience was a pain and one that I suspect someone without an IT background would find quite frustrating. What is worse, when I entered the laptop S/N into the HP website, it was already out of warranty. And good luck even finding the S/N. It is as if they make it so small and low-contrast that they do not want you to be able to read it!

No Seller Support Through Amazon Assist
It is sluggish and stops working when layering for design work. I tried to reach the seller through Amazon to discuss this first. Amazon Assistant referred me to the manufacturer, which was fine, and I completed all the recommendations. I was hoping to see if there was something else I needed to understand before returning, but since I can't find out, the only option is to presume it is a just a bad unit.
