This cleansing balm effectively removes makeup and hydrates without drying the skin. The included muslin cloth is a great bonus. While it feels moisturizing and gentle, many users find they need more than the recommended amount, which affects value at this price. Overall, a high-quality product worth trying, but the cost may be a drawback for some thus giving 4/5 star.

This is a wonderfully moisturizing cleansing balm. It smells wonderful - a light fruity-floral scent and not too strong at all. It is a refreshing, pleasant scent. I used way too much the first time I used this. So, you only need a dime-sized amount. I do not consider this an exfoliating cleanser as another reviewer mentioned. It removes makeup well, but more of a creamy texture with no exfoliating texture at all. You can use the cleanser without the cloth or with the cloth (provided and more on that below). One thing is this doesn’t leave my skin “squeaky clean”. It cleans, but leaves my skin moisturized. I like to use a toner afterwards because otherwise it feels a little heavy on my skin. I really noticed the first day afterwards how smooth my skin felt. So: 🌟 If you have dry skin, this is a perfect cleanser for you! 🌟 If you tend towards oily skin, you might want to try Kat Burki gel cleanser instead. It comes with a thick muslin cleansing cloth (not microfiber as another reviewer mentioned). The quality is great. I washed it before using and it can go in the washing machine and dryer without shrinking. I love this cleansing balm. I think it is very effective and perfect for anyone with dry-ish skin.

As the weather is shifting and the heaters have been turned on I am finding my skin is drying out more and more. This cleaner does a great job of removing my makeup without drying my skin. In fact, it’s quite moisturizing. It reminds me of the cold cream that my grandma used to use to remove her makeup with, but more moisturizing. I found the scent to be pleasant. The balm didn’t irritate my skin and application was pretty easy. It says it can be used AM and PM, but for me I find the best fit to be used in the PM as part of a gentle makeup removal. This way the balm can set it and do some magic moisturizing overnight without a layer of makeup on top. The next morning my skin is soft and moisturized, but not oily. I gave this four out of five stars because I had to use a bit more than the recommended dime size amount and at this price point, that cuts a lot into the value. I do like that they included a muslin cloth.

This review is for Kat Burki 8% Stabilized Vitamin C Nourishing Cleansing Balm. Brightening, Hydrating & Antioxidant Makeup Remover & Face Cleanser. Includes 1 Muslin Cloth, 3.4 fl. oz. This cleansing balm does a good job of removing light makeup and sunscreen. It didn't work as well on heavier makeup days for me. The cleansing balm comes with a muslin wash cloth. The instructions tell you to put a dime size amount of the balm on the cloth to clean your skin, but I wasn't really able to get that method to work well for me. I had to apply the balm directly to my skin first and then massage it with the cloth. The balm is loaded with wonderful oils that did loosen and remove makeup and dirt, and the cloth helps to exfoliate your skin a bit. After rinsing, I felt that my skin was oilier than I prefer. I followed the application with a gentle cleansing toner that took away some of the oiliness. The balm did leave my skin feeling hydrated and smooth. After several days of use, I feel that it is brightening my skin. I think this product might be best suited for people with dry skin. My skin is normal and this balm is a bit heavier than I like for my skin.

I have a high standard for a makeup cleansing balm, but this one did not meet my standard. It removes makeup, even waterproof ones. However, the texture of this balm was so watery and it was supposed to be a balm. It is difficult to get it out of the jar; after using it, my skin feels greasy and oily. I have to wash my face with the cleanser twice to get rid of the residue. This is the worst cleansing balm that I ever had.
